Flambeau Freewheelers Bicycle Club A group of road riders - enjoying the roads in Rib Lake, Phillips & Medford!

The Flambeau Freewheelers Bicycle Club is a loosely organized group of bicyclists that get together for group rides each Wednesday evening from the beginning of "day light savings time" in April through August. There are no club dues but everyone kicks in a few bucks (usually between $4-$5) after each ride to pay for food and beverages at each host site.

2022 Riding Season

Hope everyone’s year is going well so far. My new years resolution: Retire from organizing the Flambeau Freewheelers. Done! That was easy. Who want’s to take this thing over? I’ll set you up with the website, facebook, and e-mail list. Otherwise, you are all are on your own….

To help promote tourism in northern Wisconsin, Price County is part of a consortium called NOW (Northwoods of Wisconsin). NOW is funded by grants from the state and we are able to use dollars from these grants to promote our county. NOW is sending a professional photographer to our area on August 2 to take photos around the area to be used in future promotions. They have asked us if we could have one or more bikers meet them at Timm's Hill on Monday, August 2 from 4:15-4:45 pm. They are looking for trail biking/fat biking. I wanted to check in and see if anyone from your group might be interested in this opportunity. It would be much appreciated!

This weeks ride: Ogema, 7/28/21. If it's not raining or storming, lets ride this. Meet at Pioneer Park, start time 6:...
