My husband was able to stop at the Grabd Floridian at Walt Disney World this week to see the Easter Egg display and snagged these pictures. Some of these rotate, are double sided, and/or light up. Incredible!

An incredible last park day at Animal Kingdom followed by time spent at Animal Kingdom Lodge (both Kidani and Jambo)! There is SO much to share in the coming days, but for now I’ll leave you with some of my favorite Christmas sights from tonight.

1. We are big fans of Tron and our virtual queue game has been HOT this trip! We’ve scored park opening time virtual queues every single attempt. I love sharing tips for this when planning trips with clients!

As part of our split stay, we spent time at the Walt Disney World Dolphin! This is a Marriott owned hotel that is classified as a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor (perks such as deluxe resort extended evening hours). You can walk to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot from these resorts and there are many on-site choices for entertainment, dining and amenities!

We have stayed at the WDW Swan in the past (right across from this resort) and are able to redeem free nights and use points to stay here on a budget with these perks as Marriott Bonvoy members. Our bags were transferred from Disney’s Polynesian Resort to WDW Dolphin by WDW bell services, making the transition stress free at no cost! Ask me more about Marriott Bonvoy and our experiences at both Swan and Dolphin!

Snagged one of the first boarding groups of the day at our favorite ride at Walt Disney World! Epcot opens at 9:00am today.

Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom is an absolute gem! It is part of the Landrys restaurant group (which I do not always recommend). The theming is on par and the food is consistently great! Here’s what todays lunch looked like: Pork Belly Ramen and the Dragon Roll Bowl (if you like sushi, you’ll love this!).

Side note…We are Landrys members and are happy to talk about the perks of this option and when it’s actually worth it (such as $25 EVERY year for your birthday!—the membership itself is a one time $25 fee!).

Did you know that this exact chicken and pig are who inspired the characters Hei Hei and Pua in Moana? You can find them in Rafikis Planet Watch in Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World and learn more about the adaptations (colors, personality, etc.)that were made to make them “screen ready” from cast members!

Today we spent most of the day resort hopping to see and enjoy Christmas displays. We made it to the following Disney resorts:
-Polynesian
-Contemporary
-Grand Floridian
-Riviera
-Beach Club
-Yacht Club

We plan on stopping by a few others in the next few days. Which display pictured is your favorite this year? I’ll add a separate post with a video of the Beach Club carousel in motion.

We’re back! November is our absolute favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World and has been a large majority of when we have planned our personal trips.

Today we saw the recently installed Christmas tree at MCO (pictured) and spent the day enjoying the pool and sights at Disneys Polynesian Resort. This is the first leg in our split stay, which is generally how we “do” Disney.

Yesterday I had another great transportation experience with Sunshine Flyer followed up with dinner at Ohana. Enchanted was playing in Magic Kingdom, so we were able to see the fireworks during dinner.

Enchanted ends on 4/2 and Happily Ever After returns to MK!
