Travel Agents preach it to their guests ALL the time, "the early bird gets the park worm!" (That's a terrible visual, but you know what we mean.) It is TRUE! Taking advantage of early park admission is attraction gold! Who else out there agrees that up and out early is the best plan?
The proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the pictures. Early morning at Disney or Universal theme parks is the BEST time to take advantage of
lighter crowds. Are lighter crowds worth a vacationalarm clock to your crew?
It's Eat What You Want Day EVERYDAY on a Disney cruise! There are no rules. Go to your scheduled dining or don't. Order room service or just grab a quick snack on the pool deck. Do all of the above, it's entirely up to you and INCLUDED in your cruise fare...yes, even room service!
No matter your preference, you'll never step off a Disney cruise feeling hungry, that's for sure! If interested, send me a message! I love planning Disney cruises!
The average Disney guest doesn't know about this...so let me tell you about EPCOT's Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. Sure it's a mouthful to say, but trust me, you're going to want a mouthful of their pastries. With specialties like School Bread or Norwegian Kringla and staples like Chocolate Chip Cookies and Mickey Cinnamon Rolls, it makes an ideal quick breakfast stop for the whole family on the way to ride Frozen Ever After. And that Kristoff Kaffee is a tasty caffeine boost!
Have you been here yet (what did you get?) or did I give you a new place to add to your MUST TRY list?

It's National Coke Day and Walt Disney World is the home of all things Coca-Cola. What is your favorite way to get your Coke on-is it a Frozen Coke? Do you go Coke Float? Or are you just a straight up Coke on ice purist?
It is ALWAYS Cinco de Mayo in EPCOT's Mexico pavilion! The atmosphere is so authentically dreamy Mexico. I could spend all day in there with the shops, Three Caballeros and guacamole! How likely are you to linger and maybe take a quick siesta on Donald's relaxing boat ride?
May the Forth be with you!
GOOD NEWS for anyone that feels shelling out $200 for a lightsaber from Savi's Workshop is a hard NO. Over at Tatooine Traders, the Choose Your Destiny: Build Your Own Lightsaber experience is a fraction of the cost! Now, it's definitely not comparing apples to apples with the Savi's experience, and this lightsaber feels less genuine, but assembling these parts to create something unique to take home will surely satisfy a young Padawan...and their parents.
It's been 25 years since Disney Cruise Line launched their first sailing, and now I can't remember a time BEFORE we were all in love with this fleet of magical ships. What's your favorite thing about sailing with Disney? Is it the chance to have both "me" and "we" time? Is it the shows? Ports? Or the...fooood?!
Now that we've surpassed the halfway to Halloween mark, it's time to REALLY get serious about planning for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Tickets are now officially on sale and yours truly can help you secure them!
It's Lei Day! If you could..."lei" around today at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, which would it be? Would you be running to the parks or with boogie board in tow headed to the beach?
Mickey shaped pretzel vs. Mickey shaped beignet... Who wins?
Imagine... after all the time and money invested in your Walt Disney World vacation you don't even have a shot at getting on Tron Lightcycle/Run because you had NO IDEA how boarding groups work.
It happens A LOT. Don't let that be you!
Send me a message or visit mygreatestadventuretravel.com. All of my guests arrive fully prepared, in-the-know and with a much better chance of scoring a boarding group than most! It's really competitive friends, no guarantees...but at least you'll know how to compete for your chance in the grid!
DO NOT be fooled that The Boathouse
restaurant in Disney Springs is just for seafood
lovers. Their "land" options are savory, delicious
and don't feel like a second thought. While there
is plenty on the menu to choose from, you can't
go wrong with the wedge salad, filet mignon
sliders, mac and cheese and truffles fries.
By the way, if you're in the mood for a cocktail,
the Duck Duck Razz is one of their specialty
drinks and yes, it comes with a little ducky!

Two things you can always count on at
Disney...Hidden Mickeys and rain. Rainy days are
the PERFECT opportunity to take advantage of
lighter crowds especially during busier peak
seasons. What is your Disney rain plan? Do you
seek cover or dance in the rain?
Couldn't decide, so I got both milks!
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I think it would be so fun
to be at EPCOT's Mexico pavilion today. The
sounds, the smells, the tastes, the ride!
How are you going to celebrate today?
May the 4th be with you. Happy Star Wars Day!
Aside from taking a Galactic Starcruiser voyage, I
can't think of a better way to celebrate today than
getting on Rise of the Resistance
Have you experienced Rise of the Resistance yet?
What did you think?
PS-If you're thinking about booking the Galactic
Starcruiser send me a message, I have tips!
Walt Disney once said, “Disneyland really began when my two daughters were very young. Saturday was always Daddy’s Day, and I would take them to the merry-go-round and sit on a bench eating peanuts while they rode. And sitting there, alone, I felt there should be something built, some kind of family park where parents and children could have fun together.”
This vision is what helped Disney built an amazing place full of imagination and wonder where families flock to experience the magic together. Once you enter into Disney nothing else matters. Worries melt away. It is just you and your family spending time together and growing closer together.
Because of this, many of the rides at Disney do not have a height requirement. I started bringing my littlest one at 11 months old, and she was always able to ride most of the rides with us. However, there are a few rides with height requirements, so pull up the links below and familiarize yourself with the height requirements before visiting.

Dapper Day! Believe it or not, there was a time when people
dressed in their finest to travel. Now, it isn't
uncommon to see adults wearing their PJs on a
flight.
How do you dress for traveling? Comfy,
casual, or photo-ready?

Oh imagine the adorable photos you can get in front of this wall! It's just begging for you to pose everyone in your family in front of it! From little ones to great grandma, how fun!
Give me a thumbs up if you think they ought to
have a Photopass Photographer stationed here!
NIGHTTIME EVENTS RETURN TO DISNEYLAND!
Beginning today, both the Main Street Electrical
Parade and the Disneyland Forever fireworks
spectacular return to Disneyland!
Over at Disney California Adventure Park, the
World of Color projection spectacular makes its
return as well. What a day to be at the Disneyland
Resort!
It's National Tea Day! While Boba has been a
trendy drink for a little while, the Joy of Tea in
EPCOT has been serving it in it's Bubble Milk Tea
for years! They also serve a variety of other hot,
iced and spiked teas. It's a great spot to celebrate
tea today no matter which kind you like to drink!
Have you ever stopped here?
LOOKS CAN BE deceiving! Don't pass by the Joy of
Tea thinking there is nothing on the menu you
will like. In addition to teas, they serve pork egg
rolls, draft and bottled beer (Tsing Tao) and
several adult beverages that don't have a leaf of
tea in them!
FUN FACT Walt Disney loved miniatures and had
a hobby of making dioramas. Imagine how much
he would have enjoyed the Alpine Miniature
Gardens on display at the EPCOT International
Flower & Garden Festival. Not to mention the
garden railway, a staple at the Germany pavilion!
It's definitely not too late to book a visit to see
these wonders in person! Send me a message or visit mygreatestadventuretravel.com and we'll w**d through all the options.
Where in the WORLD? Who knows where in Walt
Disney World you can find this galactic hair salon
scene?

My greatest adventure began the moment I laid eyes on my then future husband. I felt it when I saw him coming toward me with the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. I knew for sure my greatest adventure had begun when he uttered the words, "Let's go to Disney World!"
My name is Jennifer, and my beloved hubby's name is Matt. Together we have six children that range in ages from two to twenty-seven. We currently live in Texas, however we would most certainly LOVE to live in Florida one of these days. My husband and I are HUGE Disney fans! Some may call us obsessed. I just say we are in love with each other, our kiddos, and the memories we make together at the most magical place on Earth! The quality time we spend together at Disney is like no other. Being able to be together, experience every attraction together, and all have fun at the same time really is magical. It brings us closer together as a family, which as a blended family is extremely important.
Matt went to Walt Disney World for the first time way back in 1975. He was three, and Disney World had only been open for about three years as well! When he became an adult he visited Disney World again for the second time with his two oldest children, who were just itty bitty at the time. That's when his love for Disney blossomed, and now he has visited so many times he can't even begin to count them!
I grew up just dreaming of visiting Walt Disney World. I would see the castle in the opening credits of my favorite childhood movies, and I would watch my favorite television characters having the time of their lives at Disney World. It was a huge dream of mine to visit Disney World as a child, however that dream of mine had been forgotten by the time I had became a young adult. I believed the huge lie that Disney is only for kids. When I got divorced I was a mother of two small children, and I decided that I needed to take them to Disney so they could experience what I was never able to. I thought the magic was over for me, however they still had time to experience it.
Shortly after I started saving to take my children to Disney, I met Matt. We met each other online, and officially met for ice cream a couple weeks later. I just adored him from the beginning, and loved how easy it was to talk to him. He is a story teller, which is one of the reasons I think he loves Disney so much. Everything Disney does has a story! I promise you that Walt Disney World is not your average theme park. You walk in, and are instantly transformed into the story. No detail is left untouched. You are in a whole new world along with all your childhood dreams and favorite characters.
Anyways, back to what I was saying about my hubby! He is a story teller, and my favorite stories of his were those that took place at Walt Disney World. And boy, let me tell you! He had plenty of stories! Remember, I told you he has gone so many times now that he is unable to count how many times. He told me about every ride, restaurant, and experience he had had at Disney before meeting me. He got me so excited about Disney that I couldn't wait to go! Thankfully I didn't have to wait long! A few months after meeting he and I snuck off to Disney while my kids were at their Dad's house for Thanksgiving. I hadn't given birth to my current three year old daughter yet, so Matt and I were able to experience the magic of Disney all on our own during my very first Disney World trip at the ripe ol' age of 30. It was AMAZING! When someone tells you that Disney World is not romantic DO NOT believe them! It was the most romantic trip of my life. Nothing in my world screams romance louder than sitting in Gaston's Tavern in the evening with the love of my life, sharing a sweet treat and some hot chocolate, gazing out the window at the castle all lit up with beautiful icicle lights while listening to the music from Beauty and the Beast. That experience along with the beauty of Disney World decorated for Christmas helped put Disney World at the top of my list of all time romantic destinations. Speaking of Christmas, I would suggest everyone experience the park during the Christmas season at least once in their life. It is a very magical experience.
The rest of the story goes like this: Matt took me on a fun road trip to California a few months later. We stopped at amazing places along the way such as the Grand Canyon and Vegas. Once we were in California we visited Disneyland for the day, and the whole time I was hoping that he would propose to me! Nope, not that day. Not even when we were standing hand in hand in front of the castle with fireworks going off overhead! However, I found out later he had the ring in his pocket that whole day, and the thought of proposing there crossed his mind! The very next day he took me to Santa Monica for the first time. There in Santa Monica he recreated one of our very first dates that evening. It was the date Matt took us on back home where I realized I was head over heels in love with him. In Santa Monica we went to the same restaurant, different location, and then took a ride on the ferris wheel just like we had done on that date about a year ago. However, there was one big difference. During this ride he brought out a ring, and asked me to become his wife. I was absolutely shocked and overjoyed.
Now back to the present. I am about to visit Walt Disney World for the 10th time here in a few weeks. We went four times last year. One of our trips we even stayed for a month! During one of these trips we got to talking about how much we love Disney World.(Like it wasn't obvious!) We believe everyone should love Disney and that with good help anyone would love Disney. However, the help that is out there can be a bit overwhelming and confusing to navigate for people visiting Disney World for the very first time. That's where we thought we could help. Our promise to you is that we will offer simple, thorough, up-to-date information designed for people new to Disney on our website. Our goal is for you to fall head over heels in love with Disney just as we have and for you to have the most magical trip that you can possibly have. We are here to help you to achieve this goal any way we possibly can. We will help you book your dream vacation at the best price we can find, as well as teach you to navigate the planning process as easily as possible. We will be with you every step of the way from booking your hotel rooms all the way to planning out your fast passes and dining reservations. Right now our website is brand new, but as we progress we will be adding more and more detailed information on everything from money saving ideas to where to get a way from the crowds for a romantic stroll by one of the many amazing Disney waterways.
