Travel Agents preach it to their guests ALL the time, "the early bird gets the park worm!" (That's a terrible visual, but you know what we mean.) It is TRUE! Taking advantage of early park admission is attraction gold! Who else out there agrees that up and out early is the best plan?

The proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the pictures. Early morning at Disney or Universal theme parks is the BEST time to take advantage of
lighter crowds. Are lighter crowds worth a vacationalarm clock to your crew?

It's Eat What You Want Day EVERYDAY on a Disney cruise! There are no rules. Go to your scheduled dining or don't. Order room service or just grab a quick snack on the pool deck. Do all of the above, it's entirely up to you and INCLUDED in your cruise fare...yes, even room service!

No matter your preference, you'll never step off a Disney cruise feeling hungry, that's for sure! If interested, send me a message! I love planning Disney cruises!

The average Disney guest doesn't know about this...so let me tell you about EPCOT's Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. Sure it's a mouthful to say, but trust me, you're going to want a mouthful of their pastries. With specialties like School Bread or Norwegian Kringla and staples like Chocolate Chip Cookies and Mickey Cinnamon Rolls, it makes an ideal quick breakfast stop for the whole family on the way to ride Frozen Ever After. And that Kristoff Kaffee is a tasty caffeine boost!

It is ALWAYS Cinco de Mayo in EPCOT's Mexico pavilion! The atmosphere is so authentically dreamy Mexico. I could spend all day in there with the shops, Three Caballeros and guacamole! How likely are you to linger and maybe take a quick siesta on Donald's relaxing boat ride?

GOOD NEWS for anyone that feels shelling out $200 for a lightsaber from Savi's Workshop is a hard NO. Over at Tatooine Traders, the Choose Your Destiny: Build Your Own Lightsaber experience is a fraction of the cost! Now, it's definitely not comparing apples to apples with the Savi's experience, and this lightsaber feels less genuine, but assembling these parts to create something unique to take home will surely satisfy a young Padawan...and their parents.

Imagine... after all the time and money invested in your Walt Disney World vacation you don't even have a shot at getting on Tron Lightcycle/Run because you had NO IDEA how boarding groups work.

DO NOT be fooled that The Boathouse
restaurant in Disney Springs is just for seafood
lovers. Their "land" options are savory, delicious
and don't feel like a second thought. While there
is plenty on the menu to choose from, you can't
go wrong with the wedge salad, filet mignon
sliders, mac and cheese and truffles fries.
By the way, if you're in the mood for a cocktail,
the Duck Duck Razz is one of their specialty
drinks and yes, it comes with a little ducky!

Two things you can always count on at
Disney...Hidden Mickeys and rain. Rainy days are
the PERFECT opportunity to take advantage of
lighter crowds especially during busier peak
seasons. What is your Disney rain plan? Do you

Walt Disney once said, “Disneyland really began when my two daughters were very young. Saturday was always Daddy’s Day, and I would take them to the merry-go-round and sit on a bench eating peanuts while they rode. And sitting there, alone, I felt there should be something built, some kind of family park where parents and children could have fun together.”

This vision is what helped Disney built an amazing place full of imagination and wonder where families flock to experience the magic together. Once you enter into Disney nothing else matters. Worries melt away. It is just you and your family spending time together and growing closer together.

Because of this, many of the rides at Disney do not have a height requirement. I started bringing my littlest one at 11 months old, and she was always able to ride most of the rides with us. However, there are a few rides with height requirements, so pull up the links below and familiarize yourself with the height requirements before visiting.

Dapper Day! Believe it or not, there was a time when people
dressed in their finest to travel. Now, it isn't
uncommon to see adults wearing their PJs on a
flight.

Parade and the Disneyland Forever fireworks
spectacular return to Disneyland!

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, the
World of Color projection spectacular makes its
return as well. What a day to be at the Disneyland
Resort!

It's National Tea Day! While Boba has been a
trendy drink for a little while, the Joy of Tea in
EPCOT has been serving it in it's Bubble Milk Tea
for years! They also serve a variety of other hot,
iced and spiked teas. It's a great spot to celebrate
tea today no matter which kind you like to drink!
Have you ever stopped here?

LOOKS CAN BE deceiving! Don't pass by the Joy of
Tea thinking there is nothing on the menu you
will like. In addition to teas, they serve pork egg
rolls, draft and bottled beer (Tsing Tao) and
several adult beverages that don't have a leaf of
tea in them!

FUN FACT Walt Disney loved miniatures and had
a hobby of making dioramas. Imagine how much
he would have enjoyed the Alpine Miniature
Gardens on display at the EPCOT International
Flower & Garden Festival. Not to mention the
garden railway, a staple at the Germany pavilion!
