This month marks five years since I started planning your vacations with Mad Hatter Adventures! In January of 2019, Chad handed over the reins to me, still playing a silent role in our travel planning venture, but largely allowing me to curate your dream vacations in his stead.

I’ve learned so much about travel and about myself in the past five years. I’m so grateful to all of you, our loyal clients, and to our boss lady, Mary, for challenging me to step outside of my comfort zone as I continue to grow our travel business.

The latter part of 2023 was spent focusing on my personal life as I’ve been learning to balance my new day job and my passion for building vacations while maintaining my personal life and relationships. Mary challenges us each year to select a word that will encompass our goals for the next twelve months. My word for 2024 is “growth.” My goal is to continue to grow in all aspects of my life over the next year, not becoming stagnant or content in what’s easy. I want to push myself to do better. Be a better travel planner. A better wife. A better mom. A better friend.

So this year, let’s plan your dream vacation. Where do you want to go? What trip have you been putting off again and again? What’s your once in a lifetime experience? Let me work with you toward your vacation goals, and in doing so, you’ll help me to make my own goals a reality. Make 2024 your year.
