CVC words are a great way for early readers to gain understanding of how to read and also confidence in their ability. We received this gorgeous board from .rose.studio and our were the perfect way to add an extension to it.⁠
⁠
One thing I love about the CVC word tiles are the blank chalk ones that allow you to write in your own letter. This is great for kids to practice making their own words and writing the letters. Our markers are the best for writing on those and our magnatiles. The colors are thick and bright and they wipe off so easily.⁠
⁠
I had Reya match the wooden tile to the magnatile and we sounded each word as we went through. You could also split up the magnatiles and have them create the word on their own.⁠
⁠
We used our after to try to see if we could recognize and read the words in a book! It’s so exciting when they realize they are reading!'⁠
