Howdy Long D**gers! As the summer heat starts to fade, and the recent Covid restrictions are gradually lifted, we look forward to a much-awaited and well-earned season of splendid autumn weather on the Northeast Coast. Hopefully you’ve managed to stay fit and healthy, and are gearing up for some perfect days climbing at Long D**g. Dear Climbers, just a friendly reminder that Grand Auditorium is currently CLOSED to protect a pair of Peregrine Falcons that are currently active in the area. This closure includes ALL entry into Grand Auditorium, including hiking through. Please remember that these birds are extremely sensitive to human presence and may abandon their nest if disturbed. Let's work together to protect these fellow residents of our cliffs, and until further notice, please climb (and hike) at other beautiful areas of Long D**g.
