A Travel Tip on Tipping ✨

Tipping customs vary widely across the world! 🌎

In some countries, like the U.S., tipping is expected for service workers, while in places like Japan, it can be seen as unnecessary or even rude.

In Europe, service charges are often included, but small tips are still appreciated.

Always check local customs before traveling to avoid awkward moments and to show appreciation appropriately!

I think it’s time to go back to school. Ummm. Recently a family member and a friend asked me why I blocked them. I was confused. I checked just in case and there were no blocked people on my list. Then I see this. Hmmm, I am not the only one. So now I am fixing my blocked posts. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know. It's ridiculous to have over 300 friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts.

I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.

Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts...
okay here goes....HELLO. To regain friends in your news feed and get rid of ads - Hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’ Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field. Click paste. This upgrades the system.

The Jamaican Immigration form is ONLINE now! Do yourself a favor and fill it out BEFORE your flight to avoid holding up the line when you land.

Trust me, standing in customs after a long flight - Not the vibe!

2️⃣ Cash or Card? What You REALLY Need to know!

💵 U.S. dollars are accepted almost everywhere, but you’ll get **better deals with Jamaican dollars.
💳 Cards work at most big spots, but if you plan on shopping in markets, eating at local spots, or taking taxis bring cash.

3️⃣ Speaking of Taxis… Don’t Get Played!
🚕 Only take red plate taxis (licensed ones). If you’re taking a taxi and there’s no red plate? RUN 🏃🏽‍♀️ !!!

4️⃣ Pack These & Thank Me Later:
✅ Bug spray (mosquitoes don’t play)
✅ Edge control (because humidity is real)

Such a seamless process from checking in at the airport with tagged bags to being assigned a shuttle bus to transport us from Anchorage to Whittier (the cruise port) to the ship boarding process.

The best part - our ROOM was READY when we arrived❣️

In route to Alaska the views from the airplane were awe-inspiring.

We enjoyed tracking the airplane’s location as one way of passing time.
