Fall is a great time to head to the parks but those Florida temps are still pretty intense. Here are two items that saved our comfort level during our August trip to Disney. Cooling towels and neck fans saved the day!

We waited 10 minutes this morning (took us 5 to walk through the queue) and 15 minutes at 11:30am. And we are about to ride Flight of Passage for the third time at 12:30 pm with a 15 minute wait. This is awesome!!!

So we are two days in to our Disney vacation and, in my opinion, Disney is doing an excellent job of physical distancing. The mask rule has been religiously upheld and I am quickly learning what 6 feet apart feels like in waiting queues. Rise of the resistance used numbers to keep everyone separate and it worked beautifully. Hand sanitizing stations are everywhere. I’m not too sure about the water fountains but we just ask for cups of water and avoid them. All in all, I feel VERY safe

What a fun ride! Perfect for the whole family. The posted wait time when we got in line was 95 minutes. We waited 80 minutes which included a 40 minute delay when the ride broke down. The fastpass line joined us before the preshow and were with us for about 20 minutes of our wait. Not bad at all for the second day!

So Jim and I are in Orlando for a conference and we just didn’t have the time or money for an Ohana reservation. Imagine our joy when we discovered that Tambu Lounge shares a kitchen with Ohana so you can ask for almost any of Ohana’s offerings. We had noodles, potstickers and a skewer of meat for a fraction of the cost. Awesomeness!
