How to make Bajan salt bread

Ingredients
Flour (3 1/2 cups)
Yeast ( 3 and 3/4 tsp active dry)
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 tsp sugar ( brown or white sugar ok )
1 tbsp oil

Directions
Add flour, salt, sugar and yeast to mixing bowl
Add 1tbsp of oil to 1 1/8 tbsp of water - pour into mixing bowl.
Place dough on work surface and knead until dough is of firm consistency
Place dough in bowl and leave until it doubles in size
Once dough is leavened, remove from bowl and cut into desired sizes
Make a cup with hand and roll dough to give it the round domed shape of a Bajan salt bread
Place on baking tray and leave to bake at 365 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes
Let cool for 10 minutes and serve with protein of choice

An idea…..

Thank you to the person who posted the idea to serve curries in slow cookers for a party. I went one step further and also cooked them in the slow cookers. Switched them on around 1pm and they were ready for the party at 8pm, turned down to warm. I bought 4 slow cookers from FB marketplace and borrowed a few others. We fed about 80 people and it was a great success!
