Our guides are not only knowledgeable concerning their cities👩‍🏫☂️. They are people with character and many interests who sometimes share their passions through means of internet. Take Maciek, for example, who shares his adventures on his YouTube channel as the GoblinExplorer. Slovakia is the news - more to come!

Who is Maciek? A true Walkative veteran, part of the team for 14 (!) years. A bit of a polyglot, speaking fluently 3 languages, traveler who visited around 50 countries and a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings. That is what took him years ago to New Zealand to try and land a role in The Hobbit. As he figured out himself, too tall for a hobbit, too short for an elf, too skinny for dwarf... but a spot-on goblin! He did not get a role, but is remembered to this day as he traveled the country as a goblin living statue earning fame and coin in the city streets. You do not believe us?? Poznań is a very nice, perhaps the most westernised, city in Poland cursed by not having some überdefining, truly dramatic feature to show off that could beat Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław and Gdańsk. It’s very pretty, wealthy and just a good place to live, though.

Each year, on May 1st, thousands of guitarists from all over the world come to Wroclaw’s Market Square to set a new Guitar World Record playing together (more info: https://heyjoe.pl/summary/).
