Back in 2016, Danger Charters had the honor of rescuing a loggerhead sea turtle that was later taken to the Turtle Hospital in Marathon for care. The turtle was named ‘Danger’ in tribute to our team. A few months later, we witnessed a truly unforgettable moment when President Jimmy Carter visited the Florida Keys to help release Danger back into the wild.

As we remember and honor President Carter’s incredible life of service, this memory feels even more meaningful. His kindness and dedication to conservation continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, Mr. President. 🌊🐢
