After a months-long delay, The North Carolina Department of Transportation has officially opened a new bridge in the Outer Banks.

Please take note the Rodanthe "Jug Handle" Bridge is now open. GPS systems may note have updated yet.

NC12 is OPEN, despite what Google Maps is telling you. NCDOT has contacted Google (and several other navigation aids) to inform them of the new bridge and routing, but it apparently takes some time for changes to go live. Please spread the word. NC 12 is OPEN.

The newest home in Black Dog Harbor has received a name -- "Bad Buoy". Check out the new pool that is going in, located partially under the house. A tiki bar will be located in the shady area, too. We anticipate this home will be available for guests in July. Stayed tuned for more updates.
