Penrith Relay For Life 2024
Saturday 26th October
10am – 10pm
Penrith Paceway
Relay For Life is a community fundraising challenge for Cancer Council. Teams of friends, families and colleagues raise money in the lead up to this years 12 hour event, team members take turns walking around a track to signify that cancer never rests, so neither do we.
Organised by passionate, local volunteers, each Relay event is an experience that will stay with you forever. We host activities designed to celebrate Survivors and recognise their Carers. We honour those we’ve lost during our candlelight ceremony, and we continue to raise funds to support people affected by cancer,
fund research and improve cancer prevention.
Relay is a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services. It’s a chance for the community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, those going through a cancer experience and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost and to raise money to help save more lives.

Join the thousands of Australians who take part in Cancer Council’s Relay For Life each year and make strides towards a cancer free future!

Is Penrith Beach really a beach? The answer is yes - according to National Geographic, a beach is technically a narrow, gently sloping strip of land that lies along the edge of an ocean, lake, or river.

This summer, NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure opened one of the lakes at Western Sydney Lakes, now known as Penrith Beach. It was opened as part of its Places to Swim program, which supports the creation of places for the community to enjoy rivers, lakes, dams and inland waterways across NSW. They work with councils and state agencies to improve access to water so that more people can get in, on and around water.

So why not book your free parking pass and visit us this weekend?
