Norfolk’s Original Mussel Festival 2024.
Rob Williamson, General Manager at The White Horse Brancaster Staithe: ‘It’s October and the season to celebrate this fabulous mollusc. The White Horse has become quite famous for showcasing amazing Brancaster Bay mussels grown and harvested at the bottom of our garden supplied by village fisherman Tom Large from Brancaster Bay Shellfish and we look forward to welcoming all to taste the mussel ‘harvest’'.

ALL WEEKEND Friday 25th October 3pm ‘til late, Saturday 26th October 12noon ‘til late & Sunday 27th October 12noon ‘til late.
Oodles of Brancaster Staithe mussels served a variety of ways including classic mariniere.
Lots of fun, live music, heated marquee, no need to book....

Yesterday eve we tried somewhere new… Barsham Brewery Tapshop ! I’d read about the food pop up trucks and yesterday was The Tapas Shack . It was fabulous ! Can’t wait to try more beers and more food !
