Today's graduation trip idea is a Caribbean cruise.

Universal released information this morning about the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel! The hotel is going to be amazing! It will overlook Universal Epic Universe. Hotel guests will have a dedicated entrance to the Universal Epic Universe park with other exclusive theme park benefits!

So excited for this hotel to open next year!

Today’s global technology outage that grounded so many flights drives home an important thing that I stress to all my cruising clients - always plan to fly the day BEFORE your cruise!

Flights are unpredictable - but you know what isn’t? The time that ship will pull away from the port, with or without you on it. Always allow the extra day in case you have to throw flight plans out the window and drive.

This brings out another important point - this is one of the reasons that adding travel protection is beneficial. Certain policies cover things like airline delays and cancellations.

Plan ahead for the unforeseen so you’re sitting on a beach sipping tropical drinks instead of sitting at an airport!
