April 27 - May 1, 2025

Join us on this exclusive tour that culminates with "The Great Steamboat Race"! This iconic American tradition of boat racing, bourbon tasting, and bountiful food is simply unbelievable fun.

Our vessel is the Belle of Cincinnati, a majestic and ornate beauty, upon which we will cruise in ultimate comfort and luxury. She features three decks, including an open-air top deck for stunning springtime sightseeing! Dining areas and dance floors surrounded by lavish Victorian décor will make your time aboard one you’ll always remember.

The first day, we’ll travel to Newport, KY and spend the evening in the area before boarding the beautiful Belle of Cincinnati the following morning.

On Day 2, we’ll depart Newport Landing and begin our voyage on the Ohio River! Onboard the boat you will enjoy crafts, food and exiciting games.

Day 3 will find us coasting towards Louisville, KY before checking into the Hampton Inn in Downtown Louisville. Also tonight, we'll enjoy a dinner show at the world-class Derby Dinner Playhouse!

Day 4 will mean it’s time for the big finale: Race Day! We will compete against the Belle of Louisville (on her home turf, no less!)

Finally, on Day 5, we’ll journey home full of wonderful memories (and hopefully as the 2025 race champions)!

We’re heartbroken to share that one of our own, Tom Schenk, a dedicated Motorcoach Operator from Evansville, has just suffered a devastating house fire. Tom was away on a trip at the time, and while we are grateful that no human lives were lost, it is incredibly tragic that his family lost their beloved dog in the fire.

A huge thank you to Dave Topper for stepping in to cover Tom’s trip so he could return home immediately. In times like these, the strength of our community truly shines.

As a company, we are doing what we can to support Tom and his family during this difficult time. If you would like to help as well, we invite you to contribute to their GoFundMe to assist with rebuilding and recovery. Every little bit helps, and any support is deeply appreciated.

The Kentucky Derby is America's most prestigious annual horse race and the first jewel of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. Don Lockwood, a dashing silent film star and his glamorous, on-screen partner/diva Lina Lamont are pressured by studio boss R.F. The only problem is that the female star has a voice that screeches like fingernails on a chalkboard. Day 2 | Tues, Apr 29 | Arrive in Madrid, Spain | Welcome to Madrid! At 6 pm, meet your tour director and travel companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel.

Day 3 | Wed, Apr 30 | Masterpieces in Madrid | Guided sightseeing includes the Prado Museum and sights of Cibeles Fountain and Calle Alcala. The Prado Museum houses one of the world's largest art collections, including its amazing assortment of masterpieces by historic artists like Velasquez, Goya, and El Greco. The famous museum also displays the works of renowned European masters, including Rubens and Rembrandt, along with a stunning collection of Greco-Roman statues. (B)


Day 4 | Thurs, May 1 | Spectacular Spain | In Segovia, see the Roman aqueduct. In Avila, visit the medieval walled town. In Salamanca, take an orientation walk to Plaza Mayor. Day 5 | Fri, May 2 | The Legends of Portugal | Enjoy a scenic drive through the Serra da Estrela mountain range en route to Fátima. Visit the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary with free time for lunch before departing for Lisbon. Visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, one of the Catholic faith's most visited pilgrimage sites for its legend of apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in 1917. (B)

Day 6 | Sat, May 3 | Lovely Lisbon | Guided sightseeing includes the Monastery of Jerónimos and Cloister, a photo stop at Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. Travelers have free time this afternoon and evening. The stunning capital city of Portugal is a treasure trove of historic and architectural masterpieces. Lisbon is home to the 16th-century Monastery of Jerónimos, adorned with its 100-foot façade featuring images of St. Michael the Archangel and Our Lady of Belém. See the 16th-century Belém Tower, which served as a fortress but also as an embarkation point for sailors and was their last sight of land before the start of their journey. Lisbon's Monument to the Discoveries pays monumental homage to great Portuguese explorers with a spectacular carved prow of an ancient ship. (B)

Day 7 | Sun, May 4 | Timeless Traditions | Visit a cork factory in Azaruja and take a scenic drive into the Andalusia region to Seville. Did you know that Portugal produces half of the world's cork? Harvested from its bounty of cork trees, this spongy natural resource is used to create bottle corks, flooring, and even cricket balls. Visit a cork factory in Évora to learn about this traditional artisanship of generations in Azaruja. (B, D)




Day 8 | Mon, May 5 | The Squares of Seville | Visit Plaza de España. Guided sightseeing includes Casa de Pilatos, and a walk through the Santa Cruz quarter. Walk through Seville's picturesque Plaza de España, originally built for Seville's Ibero-American Expo at the 1929 World's Fair, the 540,000-square-foot plaza features a sprawling mosaic patio. Explore the historic Santa Cruz quarter and its magical maze of tapas, flamenco, and cafés. (B)

Day 9 | Tues, May 6 | Strait to Morocco | Cross the Strait of Gibraltar via ferry to Morocco. Guided sightseeing in Tangier includes a panoramic drive to Cap Spartel while savoring mint tea with biscuits. This lofty promontory sits at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, with sweeping views of the sea. Join your travel companions for a dinner with Moroccan entertainment at your hotel. (B, D)

Day 13 | Sat, May 10 | City of Three Cultures | Join a walking tour with a local guide. Visit a Damascene steel workshop.
