Reliant Safety Solutions participated in the Safety Stand with Joslin. There where over 300 workers at the event focusing on falls in Contruction. We used our fall protection demonstration van where we dropped a dummy at 15 feet with a lanyard and watching the dummy hit the ground. This gives the workers perspective on what could happen without the proper fall clearance. Want to say thanking to Safety Director Robert Foster for organizing the event and special thanks to Roger Davis of Werner for supply us with the fall protection equipment.

Another busy weekend for Reliant Safety Solutions deploying 9 Soloar and hard wired security camera units at the TMC3 project in the medical system. We have one of the most advance cost effective systems on the market. We manufacture these ourselves and with our in house monitor personnel, we are still 20% to 30% cheaper than our competitors which is a cost savings to our clients.

Another inspection at the Red Rock & Casino in Las Vegas. We are still in the Demolition phase . Great inspection, observed all workers following the safety rules of the project and had another great site safety meeting with the crews. Keep up the good work!

Friday night lights at Woodforest Bank Stadium in the Woodlands, Texas with Reliant Safety Solutions. Paul and Carmina on a Brookstone Construction project catching footballs. The project is so close to the field and there is no net until completion. The balls go over the construction fence and we just throw them back to the team. So much fun and entertaining! Enjoyed some great high games.

Paul Johnson just finished up in Little Rock, Arkansas for our client, Handling Systems & Conveyors teaching basic qualified rigging and signal person course. We had over 35 students in attendance. Excellent class with a lot of information and participation from the students. All students will receive CEU’s for this course. All safety courses offer by Reliant Safety Solutions are accredited. Want to say special thanks to OSHA Jim Shelton for producing current crane & rigging statistics for the handouts and Safety Manger Zach Adams for scheduling the class.

Our safety team working at JSW Steel in Baytown, Texas. JSW Steel is a manufacturer of carbon steel plate, DSAW steel pipe and hot rolled coiled bands. The team is installing/ maintaining confined space signs thoughout the facility, updating over 300 confined space procedures and providing accredited confined space training for workers! This is a huge under taken since the plant covers serval 100 acres.

Safety inspections started at Red Rock Hotel & Casino this morning in Las Vegas. Another great inspection! Safety meeting was held with 12 workers, discussed all the important safety topics. This will be a new renavation of the buffet and dinning area at the casino.

Reliant Safety Solutions in Vegas conducting an inspection at the McCarran airport. We have conducting inspection for over a year. Started out in Untied Airlines terminal and now in Southwest Terminal . Have meet some fantastic contractors and workers along the way. Each time I do the inspection, the workers are always working in a safe manner.

Memorial Day... Honoring the bravery of the men and women who served in our nation’s armed forces. Paul Johnson with Travis Mills, who served in the Untied States Army and became a quadruple amputee while serving in Afghanistan. I got a chance to hear him speak at the AGC Conference back in 2020. He is an excellent speaker motivating others to live by his motto: "Never give up. Never quit."

Structural steel is are specialty inregards to safety. Here at Reliant Safety Solutions we hire Ironworkers and cross train them to become safety professionals. Our founder Paul Johnson was an union Ironworker out of local 377 and stills carries a book. The past weekend we oversaw site safety when hanging a bridge at Methodist hospital In the Woodslands. The bridge was fabricated by MSD Building Corp and known to have a great safety culture. Project was successful with no issues due to pre-planning.

Reliant Safety Solutions participated in the Safety Stand Down this week with JOSLIN here in Kingwood, Texas. We had o we 80 workers during the fall protection presentation. Reliant Safety Solutions used there fall protection demonstration vehicle to get the workers engaged. They dropped a dummy from 14 feet with a 6 foot lanyard and then use a SRL so the workers can see frist hand which system is better. Also, like to say special thanks to Roger Davis from Werner the area Rep in his expertise in the products. Werner manufacturers some of the best products that we use in the industry today!

Deployed another Reliant Safety Solutions solar camera system in Porter, Texas. Camera system contains 3 Axis bullets along with an Axis PTZ, red and blues , professional monitoring and talk down features to scare off intruders. These are the best reliable systems on the market today for construction projects. We have many configurations available. Gives us a call for a quote. Reliant Safety Solutions conducted an OSHA 10 hour over the weekend. Great turn out and to make the class even better Paul Johnson used the fall protection demonstration vehicle where he dropped a dummy at 14 feet with a 6 foot lanyard to demonstrate to students what happens when u use the wrong system. Then he used the SRL at 14 feet where the dummy fell around 18 inches. Then covered how to get in the rescue position with the students. Special thank to Werner for donating harnesses and lanyards for the students for the class!

Reliant Safety Solutions held a Scaffold Competent Person Training course in Spanish. The students received 8 hours (.08 CEUs)of instruction and hands on training with 3 different types of scaffolds that the students had to erect. We use the most common scaffolds that you would find at any project site , baker, pin lock and standard frame. Students walk away being more confident and aware of hazards while working or erecting scaffolds.
