Happy Saturday! Today is January 20. It is cold here in Texas, but building season is upon us, so stay warm in the shop and build away! We have a lot of parts available, including CA, Epoxy, AGF servos. Futaba radios, receivers, servos. FrSky radios receivers and servos, along with the barrel switch covers, screen protectors and balance bars. Several Stinger engines, including some that are out of stock at Stinger. I have the 70cc Twin, a few other twins and some singles like the 15cc SE and 35cc RE.

We even have two of the FrSky X20 Pro radios in stock, ready for immediate shipping.

For you Jet Jockeys out there, UPS is supposed to be delivering additional ball valves today and they should be on the website tomorrow. We are getting two versions of a 6mm to 4mm ball valve, one standard and one that has a threaded end with lock nut for mounting through a former or fire wall. See photos below.

The standard 6mm-4mm ball valve is $18.95 and bulk head version is $20.95. These are made by PISCO, one of the manufacturers some turbine manufactures include with the turbines.

Hello all!

We have been busy with so many things, it has been hard to get on here and let you all know what is going on. I have been working with our friend Chris Gracy with XSRC Jets on getting to know a little more about jets. Based upon our conversations, I have researched, sourced and now have some products our jet friends have been requesting.

I am happy to report that we now have some PISCO ball valves in stock at some good prices. We have the 6mm Ball Valve, 4mm Ball Valve, and the 6mm to 4mm inline adapter in stock. We have additional fittings on order, including 6mm to 4mm Ball Valves, and another version ball valve with bulk head mount. Well, we are back from Ice House! What a great event! Weather was fantastic and the people were too! Big shout out to Josh Yarbro for your help with sales and helping people get comfortable with FrSky equipment!

As a vendor at events and with an online presence, I would like to thank all of our friends, family and customers across this great country of ours and world wide. If you have gotten quality products and service from us, please feel free to share that with others.

We have our reputations and word of mouth is our greatest advertising. As a mom and pop small business, we don't have a budget for adverstising or have paid pilots, etc. We have you, our family, friends and customers. As most of you know, we are a travelling hobby shop! And being a travelling hobby shop, we are travelling again! We leave tomorrow afternoon to head to Apache Pass RC for the annual ICE HOUSE FLY IN! We are bringing all the usual stuff, including some things donated to the club specifically for the ICE HOUSE FLY IN. They are donations to the club, for them to sell, give a way, pilot prizes or raffles. The signs arre 4" x 18" and the stickers 3.25" round.

Hope to see you there for some great flying, food and fellowship!

So we are about 2 hours away from the Triple Tree Aerodrome. But stopped on Interstate 85 on the Georgia side! Been sitting here for 30 minutes with absolutely no movement. Don’t know what happened or how long it will be.

3 lanes of headlights stop as far as the eye can see! All stopped! I hope we get there before Friday! LOL

Another long day, before an even longer day tomorrw. We head out before sun up to So Carolina and the Nall in the Fall. I have no idea how many pilots will be there, but the vendor list is pretty small!

I completed another limited edition Nall license plate and stickers. Here is a sample. These will be extremely limited as I did not want to make a lot and bring some home!

If you look through our website, please take note that any orders placed between now and October 8th, will not ship until the week of the October 9th. We have no way to ship product from our mobile store! And I cannot guarantee inventory will be accurate by the time I get back.

FrSKy TD R12, TD SR12, and TD SR18!

We are stocking limited supplies of the Twin X-Lite S dual 2.4 gig transmitters as well. This thing are small, compact and fully functional 24 channel transmitters. You can even add the multiprotocol modules and bind to several other brands of receivers! I have been using one for about a month now and absolutely love it. It may not be the best choice for more complicated setups, as it only has 4 toggle switches, but it works great for 4-6 channel airplanes and is a great transition for younger hands to move into RC!

I must apologize for not having the new TDR12, TDSR12 and the TRSR18 in stock. I ordered them and paid for them long before they even arrived at the warehouse in California. Long story short, I was assured they would ship overnight to me tomorrow for Friday delivery.

For those of you that have pre-ordered, I will contact you as soon as they arrive and make arrangements to ship out Friday. Again, I apologize. This was human error from the warehouse and they are trying to make it right.

Oh my! We have been busy! It has been a good season so far, and it is moving fast! New radios coming, new 12 channel receivers for FrSky with or without stabilization, including a new TDR12 and TDSR12 with battery inputs (due by mid-July). The much awaited TDSR18 should be available in mid July with these also. The new Twin X Lite S is now available.

Also new Xact servos from FrSky are now available. High Voltage, high torque, all metal, with telemetry.

We have also added the new CNC aluminum Radio tray designed for the X20 radio series.

No rest for the weary! We got back from Joe Nall, had two days to recover, then went to see our friends at the Back of the Bend RC Club in Monroe, LA. Got back from there and got three days to prepare for the trip to Bomber Field for their annual War Bird Fly In! We leave tomorrow and get back sometime on Sunday. We will not be able to ship anything unlless order is received by 10:00 a.m. Texas time (CST) on Thursday. Shipping resumes on Monday, June 5th.

I have the protoypes of the foam inserts for hard shell cases for the FrSky X18 and X20 radios. A few minor tweaks and production should start this week. I hope to have a lot for Joe Nall. The earliest I can pick them up is next Tuesday, leaving Wednesday for the Nall.

The radio sits in the middle, with one long side opening for the neck strap, stylus for programming, charge cables, tools or other longer accessories. On the opposite side is two smaller pockets, large enough to carry a couple extra receivers, multiprotocol module, spare battery, etc.

It is a nice fit. Most of the cases I have seen or used, the radios fit pretty tight. These are not tight, but fit well. Plenty of clearance for the switches all around. The corners are square so you can get your fingers in to lift up the radio. The factory soft cases are nice, but the radio fits very snug, which is good for shipping.

The foam can be turned around so the radio can face up or down, based upon your preference. I prefer (and suggest) the screen of the radio is at the same side as the carry handle, so no weight is transferred to the screen or switches while carrying, storing or transporting the radio.

Look for us at the Nall, or you will have to wait for our return for one these. Available a foam insert for your case, or with an Apache 3800 hard shell case. Inserts will also fit a Pelican 1450.
