I am truly grateful we had only a few small branches to deal with this time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those dealing with the true aftermath of the storm ❤ this time I was very fortunate.

I’m so glad to have been raised by incredible parents who let me fail under a watchful eye.

They were just close enough behind to guide me to see failure as just the lesson to know what doesn’t work.

To take each of the lessons and look at the task differently to come up with new alternatives, building on the ones that work and learning from each new failure.

Satisfaction comes from the journey of each purposeful endeavor, success is its reward.

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

By 1894, 23 more states had adopted the holiday, and on June 28, 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed a law making the first Monday in September of each year a national holiday.
