I had the opportunity to book and plan a multi-generational Disney Cruise Line trip on Disney’s Wish. I wanted to share this kind review! 🚢 🌴 🌊

“My husband and I recently took 9 of our family members on a Disney Cruise on the Disney Wish. We were absolutely blessed with how wonderful it was. We worked to make the "magic" happen with Jenni Hufford who booked all of our travel arrangements for the group. She did an amazing job and we were so grateful that she set up all of our transfers to and from the airport to our first hotel and from the hotel to the cruise ship and then back home.

Jenni was so easy to work with and took a lot of the "frantic" out of the travel arrangements for my husband and myself. She would make sure that I was 100% satisfied with each step of the planning process and I can tell you firsthand that planning a trip for 11 isn't easy. I'm so thankful for her help and diligence into making this trip such a fun time for each of us.

I would highly recommend working with her for any trips we might want to do with Disney in the future.

🎃👻🍭 HUGE NEWS!! 🍭👻🎃

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return to Magic Kingdom Park late this summer and will run through this fall. Get ready for a spook-tacular celebration with plenty of tricks and treats when the series of parties kicks off August 11.

This limited capacity, nighttime event starts at 7 p.m. and allows guests to experience shorter wait times on attractions, themed food and beverage and more. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 27, and tickets will be available to all guests starting May 2. The event dates are:

August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29

September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29

October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31

Calling all foodies! 🥨🍷🍽🍣🍜🥗🥡

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE will begin dishing up delights at Walt Disney World Resort starting July 27 and continuing through November 18, 2023.

Get ready to sip and savor at more than 25 Global Marketplaces throughout EPCOT, including returning favorites such as The Fry Basket, Flavors from Fire, Canada, India and Spain. Several new Global Marketplaces will open later during the festival as summer turns to fall.

Recently I had the opportunity to see the Easter eggs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Here are a few of my favorites (it’s hard to choose just a few photos!). Which one is your favorite!?

If you are looking to take your Disney Vacation up a level, consider booking a Club Level Room at a Disney Deluxe Resort.

If you are unfamiliar with "Club Level", it is basically a category of rooms that provide a higher level of service at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts. Club Level guests will have access to the resort's concierge staff which will make for a very personalized stay at the resort. Additionally, guests will have access to the Club Lounge which offers food, snacks, and drinks throughout the day. This is a huge convenience and such a treat to have a designated spot to relax during your stay.

Recently I had the chance to stay Club Level at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. 🐿🛶🌲🪵. The "Old Faithful Club" did not disappoint! Upon arrival, we were greeted by name upon entering the lobby (how did they know it was us!? Disney Magic!) and was taken up to the 7th floor where we were given a tour of the Old Faithful Club. Our room was also located on the 7 floor overlooking the gorgeous lobby and right next to the Club.

A magicband or room key of a guest staying Club Level is needed to enter the Old Faithful Club. The view looking down from the Club on the 7th floor to the lobby is breathtaking. It was spacious with many seating areas, a private balcony for fireworks viewing, couches, chairs, and TV playing favorite Disney movies.

The club offers 5 different serving times throughout the day. Coffee in the early morning, Breakfast , Snack, Hor' Dourves and drinks, and Cordials and Desserts. One notable item about the Old Faithful Club is that it's the only club that offers beer on tap! There was also a specialty juice called Geyser Grog that was also delicious!

If you want to indulge yourself in an incredible experience while visiting Walt Disney World Resorts, consider booking Club Level for your next stay!

Disney has released some updates about the TRON experience:

💫 TRON will use a virtual queue and offer Individual Lightning Lane (pay-per-ride) access, no standby line

🔒 The ride will use a locker system to store belongings. It will auto-link to your Magic Band or tickets

📱There is a special compartment for your phone on the ride. Via Bluetooth, you will receive an onboard photo and video of your ride delivered to your My Disney Experience App.

TRON opens in Magic Kingdom on April 4th, 2023.

I was able to see TRON test running just this week in the Magic Kingdom; this ride looks incredible! 💫🏍

The Enchanted Rose 🥀 is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, open daily from 3:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Please your palate with delectable dishes and shimmering sips when you visit this newly reimagined lounge inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

Enchanted Rose is one of my favorite lounges on property due to its sophisticated decor, delicious appetizers, and proximity to the Magic Kingdom. Pop over on the monorail for a featured cocktail and appetizer such as charcuterie, croquettes, or smoked trout and crab dip while catching glimpses of Disney Enchantment fireworks from the lounge windows.

One of the most fascinating aspects of Enchanted Rose is the stunning gold chandelier featured over the bar. The chandelier is inspired by Belle’s iconic yellow ball gown. It’s truly a stunning light fixture and a beautiful lounge to experience!

🏍TRON Lightcycle Run officially opens April 4 in Magic Kingdom

🚗 Beginning this evening, Jan. 10, overnight self-parking will once again be offered complimentary to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World.

🎫 Beginning in the next few months, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to visit the theme parks after 2 p.m. without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park. Pass blockout dates will continue to apply like they do today.

When it's time to go to Disney, I always suggest to stop, take a moment, and enjoy the magic! Don't let the little details pass you by as you are on your way to the next ride. Here are a few suggestions on how to Experience the Magic at Magic Kingdom:

👑 Stop by Cinderella's Fountain and view it from a child's perspective
🎠 Ride Cinderella's favorite horse at Price Charming's Regal Carousel (hint: this horse has a gold ribbon on the tail)
🗡 Try your hand at King Arthur's Sword and the Stone
🦎 Find Pascal in the Tangled restroom area and by Rapunzel's Tower (hint: there are 10 Pascal's to find!)
🐫 Stop by the spitting camel in Adventureland
🛶 For a relaxing break from the park, take a raft over to Tom Sawyer's Island to explore. They hide six paint brushes daily on the island!
🌳 Take in the 135+ year old live oak Tree, The Liberty Tree, in Liberty Square. It has thirteen lanterns hanging from its limbs to represent the 13 colonies of America.
🪦 Look for Madame Leota's headstone in the Haunted Mansion queue 👀
💜 Take photos by the iconic purple wall in Tomorrowland
🔍 Search for Hidden Mickey's
🎄 Shop for a souvenir ornament in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square
🇺🇸 Experience the flag retreat that happens every evening by the flagpole near the train station. Often they ask a guest who is a veteran to assist in the flag retreat ceremony.
🏰. Take a stroll through Cinderella Castle and take in the beautiful mosaics. Try to find the scene where one stepsister is "red" with rage, and the other stepsister is "green" with envy.

We had the opportunity to enjoy these 20 minute private photography sessions at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom last month. We got 66 photos during our Magic Kingdom session and 83 photos during our Animal Kingdom sessions. Our photographers were great to work with and incredibly creative with our mother/daughter photos and individual portrait photos of my daughter.

You can have up to 8 guests during a session. Each session is 20 minutes long and priced at $99 per session. These sessions can be booked up to 60 days in advance online. Photos are not included (but are included with a Memory Maker Purchase).

Disney offers several modes of transportation from resorts to parks (bus, monorail, skyliner, or boat depending on which Disney Resort you are staying).

However sometimes you might need to get somewhere quick for a dining reservation reservation or rope drop. This would be the perfect time to utilize Minnie Vans, Disney owned and operated vehicles, available to book through the Lyft app!

We had just finished our meal at Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary and needed to get back to Wilderness Lodge. Instead of walking back to Magic Kingdom to get a boat to Wilderness Lodge, we decided to book Minnie Van. Zack in Minnie Van 144 was there in 3 minutes! All Minnie Van drivers are Disney Cast Members so you know you will be safe with a driver that has all the Disney knowledge!

To request a Minnie Van ride through the Lyft app:

1. Open the app and enter your Walt Disney World Resort destination.

2. Confirm your pick-up location and tap “Select Minnie Van”. If Minnie Van service is not the default vehicle displayed, you will need to scroll through your vehicle options until Minnie Van service is displayed and select it.

3. Use the map that appears in the app to track an icon representing your Minnie Van service vehicle—along with an identifying number so you don’t have to guess which ride is yours when it arrives.

Minnie Van Service operates from 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM (after midnight) daily. Hours of operation are subject to change.

Now sit back and enjoy a relaxing ride on Walt Disney property with Minnie Vans!

Did you know that over 90 horses live at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch? 🐎🐴

We decided to try something new on our most recent trip and booked a scenic horseback trail ride, and had the best time! These 45 minute trail rides are $55 a person (participants must be 9 years or older), and can be booked online 60 days in advance. The Trail Blaze Corral is located at the Main Entrance of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

After our trail ride we ventured over to the stable at Tri-Circle-D Ranch where all the Walt Disney World Horses live and are cared for. The stable was immaculate and had a pristine collection of memorabilia and photos. Animal lovers of all ages will delight in the variety of breeds that live at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, including Appaloosas, Arabians, Belgians, Clydesdales, Percherons and Quarter Horses, plus Shetland Ponies. We were told the largest horse at the stable was 20 hands! This is a must do for any horse lover in your family!

The stables near the Settlement area of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Guests are welcome to walk through the area and visit the horses. Pony Rides also depart from this location.

Pony Rides are available at the stable near Pioneer Hall on a walk-in basis only. Trail Rides are bookable online and are available on a walk-in basis (pending availability)

I recently had the opportunity to tour Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. I was so blown away by the new Grand Destino Tower lobby and the Dahlia Lounge, I felt it deserved its own post highlighting its unique Spanish themed ambiance.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a moderate resort that recently added the brand new Grand Destino Tower in 2019.

The new tower rises dramatically on the southeastern shores of Lago Dorado (“Golden Lake”). It offers 545 modern guest rooms (including 50 suites and club-level services), a grand two-story lobby, new meeting venues, new lounges and a rooftop restaurant with spectacular views. The distinctive tower is the stylish new gateway to the 2,385-room resort.

New dining options at the resort include Tolédo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood and Dahlia Lounge located on the 16th floor of the tower.

Spanish modernism theming prevails at the Dahlia Lounge, with a beautiful outdoor area the overlooks Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts. The lounge highlights photographs of Walt Disney himself along with artist Salvador Dali when they collaborated on various projects.
