My favorite travel hack - gift cards! Each year, my kids get a few gift cards in their Christmas stocking. When they were little, they would get a Disney card with enough money to buy a few souvenirs on our next trip. Now that they're older, I split the amount between Disney and Starbucks. They love having enough money to buy a couple of souvenirs and a few iced lattes while on vacation without having to ask me.
I also grab gift cards throughout the year when I'm out shopping and have a stash ready to go for our next trip. Gift cards don't have to be for the theme parks - they might be for a run to Target or Walmart before your trip, maybe Amazon for a last-minute OOTD, and of course, Starbucks for your caffeine fix!
