We live and work in the picturesque town of Copan Ruinas, Honduras and have an office and shipping department in West Virginia U.S.A. We started off in 2007 giving hiking tours to waterfalls, Mayan ruins, coffee farms, modern day Mayan villages and women's cooperatives. Now we export the finest quality handmade Mayan carvings, clothing and Jewelry that Central America has to offer. We have a great

time hand selecting the best handmade products that Guatemala has to offer in Panajatchel, near the stunning Lake Atilan. We also have a close relationship with many of the Artisans based here in Copan Ruinas, we love to see the great pieces they create and then pass them on to you. We are very proud of and passionate about our Jade production at Mayan Mountain and believe that we have one of the best selection of Mayan carvings available on the internet today. We owe a lot of thanks for this to our extremely talented principal carver who lives with his family in Copan Ruinas. We are hoping to provide him with the tools necessary to create even better work and allow him to earn more money to support his family. Our company and products have a deep connection with the rich Mayan history and culture. In our modern world it is easy for tradition and culture to get lost along the way, we believe in helping the Guatemalans to hold on to their culture by allowing them to carry on making a living out of creating beautiful crafts, using traditional methods. We are helping families to escape poverty whilst cultivating their knowledge and expertise, ensuring that their valuable skills and crafts don't die out.

Cheers to another successful year at the Tucson gem show! I’m grateful for the sales of course, but as always the highlight is the people! Thanks to Johnny and Cassie my birthday dinner! And thank to all those who stopped by for a handshake or hug, to buy a bracelet or a few choice slabs of jade. I love you all! I’m pretty tired after 21 days of set up and selling. Now it’s to me to hike in the desert with my niece and take a more relaxed route back to my woods in North Carolina. 💚

What fun trip this has been so far! The best part of the Tucson show is always the people! I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful jade community. Big shout out to and for filming YouTube content with my niece and I! Any time spent with and Bob is a blast and the hospitality of and can’t be beat! Two weeks to go and time is already flying by. I’ll post more pics of jade and jewelry soon. Love y’all!

Here’s another pair of our earrings cut from our fine Guatemalan jadeite. This was a very unique lilac color that we got last year. It’s a mix of blue and purple with a very tight grain. I’ve sold some beads and Jaguar heads from this, but these earrings are the first thing we’ve made here in the States from it. I’m impressed!

I’m really pleased with how well the polish turned out on our 150 pairs of earrings. Check out the shot where you can see the trees reflected on them! This pair was cut from an extremely translucent light blue “princesa” jadeite. We will be drilling holes all weekend to get these ready for Etsy and the Tucson gem show!

The azaleas around my shop are in bloom! I love using natural elements like flowers, moss, stone and wood in my photography.

I thinks these beautiful flowers look great in the background of the jade I’ve been listing…I just with they would stay in bloom longer!

Some of these pieces have sold, and some are available. Let me know if any catch your eye. Thank you!
