Most Disney Cruise itineraries include fireworks at sea as part of the Pirates in the Caribbean deck party. If you have a veranda cabin on the starboard side of the ship, you’ll be able to see them right out your window. Jammies and a glass of wine while watching fireworks at sea… Yes, please!

Well, this isn’t a pretty site is it? Let’s talk debarkation…

You’ll be assigned a dining time for breakfast based on your dinner rotation time. You’ll be offered a plated breakfast in the same dining room where you had your last dinner. You’ll be able to say goodbye to your servers who by now are probably like family.

If your breakfast time is just a bit too early for you there is an extended breakfast offered in the buffet restaurant as well. But you should plan to be off the ship no later than 830 or 9. So when making your flight reservations, make sure to take into account it will be an early morning, but give yourself enough time to get to the airport for your flight. Something noon or later is usually preferred.

Your luggage can be left outside your door the night before and taken directly to the terminal for you or you may bring it off yourself in the morning.

If you are using Disney transportation out of Port Canaveral to MCO, those buses will be running continuously back to the airport or if you are going to a Disney resort hotel, they will be going there as well. Cast Members will be on shore to direct you.

It’s a sad day for sure but like all good things they must eventually come to an end. Make sure you put down your placeholder (in the app) for your next cruise before you leave the ship and you’ll enjoy a discount on your next Disney cruise. It always helps to have another one to look forward to!

How cool is this magic portal? On the Disney Wish, children can check in for the kids club and then slide down into the club area to enter the worlds of Star Wars, Marvel, Fairytale Hall, and Imagineering Lab. Of course there are stairs that work as well!

Good morning from Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay! This is one of my favorite parts of a Disney cruise. We are going to enjoy some coffee on our verandah then head down for breakfast and then on to the island. You’ll find me under a coconut tree listening to Jimmy Buffet. More to come!

Most Disney Cruise itineraries have a special pirate night. We have visitors from the pirate realm on board, including Captain Hook and Jack Sparrow. The music turns to pirate songs and you’ll see all of our Disney friends dressed in their best pirate attire. Later tonight there will be a deck party complete with fireworks. It’s really something special.

Lunch time on a Disney cruise provides multiple options - all included.

Those guests hanging poolside have a full selection of food stations to choose from offering quick bites from pizza to barbecue to build your own tacos to burgers and hot dogs.

A full buffet lunch is served in the buffet restaurant on the pool deck. This includes carved meats, sandwiches, shrimp and crab legs, Asian food, Italian food, salads, and lots of great dessert options.

A plated lunch is available in one of the main dining rooms. You can check the navigator app to see which dining room is offering lunch on each day. No reservations are necessary.

If you are ported at one of Disney’s private areas (Castaway Cay or Lighthouse Point) you’ll find a full barbecue lunch served on the island.
