It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that the masked ball will not be going ahead next week.
This is heartbreaking for us, after all the work we have put in, and the fact that we had amazing entertainment lined up for what would have been a fantastic night.
We are not taking this decision lightly, there have been tears today. We went through different options and scenarios numerous times, dressed up, promoted the ball, had fun along the way, but at the end of the day, it is just not viable. We have consulted with other event organisers about how events have changed in the post-covid world, and we cannot take the risk of waiting until too late. Unfortunately we didn't sell enough tickets with one week left to go, and we are already losing money by cancelling.
We hoped the countdown on tickets we have been running would have got those who were waiting to buy their tickets but it just hasn't happened.
We're heartbroken for those who have bought tickets and started planning for the ball. We'll be contacting all those guests soon and refunding their tickets.
We truly wish we had other news, happy, glamorous, shiny news.
We are so sorry, and hope you can still enjoy your Halloween celebrations this year.
