Lifeboat Houston Lifeboat is a group of teens that meet monthly to discuss important topics and look to God’s Word And while we are at it, have some fun!

Lifeboat Houston meets monthly to discuss important topics, look to God’s Word for answers, and apply God’s Truth. These monthly meetings usually begin with some games and a relaxed time to visit with friends. Depending on the month, sometimes we will have a visit from the famous weightlifter Hans! We will then move to a time of prayer and worship (usually around a campfire), followed by a topical

discussion. It is important that this is a place where we can talk and discuss, and search the Word for answers to our questions. This time is usually followed by pizza, and more time just hanging out. This has become a place where our teens can come with questions, and be directed to the scriptures for answers.

please pray as we take some girls this weekend to Camp Peniel, one of them is not a Christian. I can see the Lord working in her life! .

Dwight and I just started working with CRU (campus crusade for Christ) at the high school in Kingwood. It has been fun and rewarding! We meet once a week with CRU leaders and students. The students are learning how to lead the meetings and we plan outreach opportunities. We had an outreach at our home in October ! Human scavenger hunt and pumpkin carving. CRU is a wonderful Christian organization and is available at most college campuses and now many high school campuses. other CRU events include mission trips and retreats throughout the year! I encourage you to be a part of it if you have the opportunity!

Lifeboat is working with CRU Kingwood (formally Campus Crusade for Christ) this school year! We are so excited to be involved with such a great Christian organization. We are planning some great things and we hope you will be a part of them. We will still be going to camp Peniel (marble falls, Texas) for work weekend in February. I will keep ya'll posted of all activities as they are planned!

It has been a crazy couple of months but we are ready for a party!! End of the year party is June 3 at 4pm. Our house! 2607 Laurel ridge dr kingwood!
Come to swim, play games and eat! We are looking into doing crawfish but not sure if it is too late in the season! Come and bring a dish to share if you would like! Very casual!! We would love to see everyone!
