The 5-star Gran Meliá Arusha in Tanzania has one of the BEST views I’ve ever seen. ✨
This view of the imposing Mount Meru—Tanzania’s second-tallest mountain—front and center was taken from a random balcony on my floor. ⛰️
You can also get incredible views from the hotel rooftop, particularly at sunset. 🌇
The views aren’t the only reason to visit though. Other highlights include lush grounds centered by a pool, a spa with free sauna & steam room for guests, cultural experiences like cooking and weaving classes, and more! 🥳

This national park in Nova Scotia is EPIC (and free!) #AD 😍⬇️
If you’re looking for an easy yet super scenic hike, the Harbour Rocks Trail in Nova Scotia’s Kejimkujik National Park Seaside is stunning. 🤩
You’ll start by hiking through lush coastal forest—including foliage colors in fall. 🍁
After about a mile, you’ll reach sandy coastline showcasing beautiful beach as well as rocky islands & outcroppings that make for stunning photos. I hiked in October and had the beach pretty much all to myself! 🏖️
Bonus: as with most parks in Nova Scotia, entry is free! 🎉
🐻 WARNING: you’ll want to be bear-aware for this hike! On my way back while hiking solo I encountered a black bear. Luckily, a couple and their big dog were a few minutes behind me so we waited a bit and hiked out together.

While in the Serengeti, our safari vehicle stopped by a hippo pool to watch the hippos...🦛
...when suddenly some surprise visitors arrived! It started with the little elephant you see in the reel, and slowly but surely the rest of the herd appeared! 😍
It was amazing seeing how they all interacted, the hippos laying their heads on each other while birds pecked ticks and parasites off their skin, and the elephants drinking water and splashing themselves with mud to cool down. 💦
Also, baby elephants. Need I say more?! 🥹
