Dear Adoptees/Adoptive Families,
Viet Nam Motherland Tour (www.motherlandtourvn.com) was established with the mission to help adoptees reunite with their biological roots throughout Vietnam. We arrange specialized cultural tours as Motherland Tours and activities to encourage adoptees to return to their homeland and learn the Vietnamese culture, as The Service Learning Program; The Language & Cultural Immersion; The Volunteer Program and The Medical/Dental Mission. We are also known for doing Birthparents Search to reunite Vietnamese adoptees and biological relatives with each other.
We believe that a homeland journey is very emotional and that with our professional experience and expertise, you and your family will have memories of a lifetime.
If you spend two weeks on our Motherland Tour, you and your family will explore both urban and rural areas, seaside resorts and many cultural events designed to familiarize you with the history of your child’s homeland. Our tours can either be carried out from the North to the South or vice versa, and can even be combined with Laos or Cambodia to make a more complete trip, if desired.
We have been able to connect many adoptees with their birth parents, as well as visit and participate in activities with orphans and nuns/sisters and caretakers in the specific orphanages and/or hospitals where adoptees were raised until their adoption. You will be able to see the many changes and improvements that have occurred over the past several decades at each of these places. Our tours also focus on cultural experiences such as cooking classes, visiting rice fields, and sightseeing much of the country. These trips touch the lives of each family and individual enough so that many of the families and adoptees want to return to Vietnam time and time again.
For those adoptees who wish to re-unite with their birthparents or family members, if you sign up for our services anytime, Motherland Heritage Co., LTD will offer their search and reunion services whenever possible, and at NO EXTRA CHARGE. We are sensitive to the fact that reuniting with a birth family can be a very emotional and sensitive time, therefore, professional counselors who have personally experienced a birth family reunion will be available for support, if necessary.
Our sincere hope is to try to encourage and maintain a special connection between Vietnam and as many adoptive families as possible. By means of seeing, learning and experiencing all of it’s culture and beauty first hand, there is a good chance an everlasting bond will form.
