Hubby and I thought we’d have a nice cosy dinner at to celebrate all the things - our anniversary❤️, the holidays🎄, being new parents👨‍👩‍👧 - and finally use a gift card given to us from my college friends.

✨ We had so so much fun! Between our
VIP table in front of the kitchen, the delicious and creative food, to the impeccable service. It reminded me of the Michelin ⭐️ restaurants we’ve been to in Paris and the South of France.🇫🇷
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! So much so that when we learned at the end of the meal that our gift card was to a DIFFERENT restaurant, we didn’t mind one bit.😂

If you're looking for a fun day trip out of the city, whether you're a couple or young family looking to entertain your kids, I recommend the Barnyard Petting Zoo ! Only 1-1h30 from the city, you'll come upon the cutest petting zoo with a farmer's market next door.

In 2011, I met @amusebouche8 at a secret dinner party in Paris which was all the rage at the time. We've kept in touch through the years and reunited last night where she surprised me with the most thoughtful gift: a #junkjournal ! I've never seen one before but cherish how it captures many travel moments in time and am so excited to add this to one of my few possessions I have since I've left NY. Grateful for amazing friends.

One of the most incredible sights I've seen is the other side of the Vilarinho das Furnas #dam in #gerês . The water pours out with such strong force into a beautiful surrounding.
