The ruins of Guge Kingdom are located on a dirt hill in Ngari, . The Tibetan kingdom was established in the first half of the 10th century and was inherited by 16 kings. The royal palace castles were expanded from the 10th to 16th century. The ruins covering an area of about 180,000 square meters, more than 300 meters high from the foothills to the top. There are more than 600 buildings, with pagodas and caves, forming a huge group of ancient buildings. There are 5 monasteries and temples that are well preserved. The remaining clay sculptures and colored murals leaving a precious resource for the study of Tibetan history and architecture since the 10th century AD.

Sakya Monastery located on the foot of Benbo Mountain, Sakya County, Shigatse, Tibet, China. It is a Tibetan Buddhist Sakya monastery and is the main Monastery of the Sakya. "Sakya" is a Tibetan-language translation that means gray soil. In 1073, a descendant of a Tibetan noble family discovered an auspicious land on the south hillside of Benbo Mountain. So, he contributed capital to build Sakya Monastery, and then gradually formed the Sakya sect. The wall of Sakya Monastery is painted with red, white and cyan colors, which respectively symbolizing Manjusri Bodhisattva, Avalokitesvara and Vajrapani Bodhisattva. Therefore, Sakya is also commonly referred as the “Flower Religion”.

Lulang stone pot chicken is a famous dish in . It uses local Tibetan chickens as material, as well as palm ginseng, mushroom, wolfberry, red date, star anise, pepper, etc. Put all the ingredients in the stone pot and simmer slowly in small fire. After four or five hours, until you can smell the herbs, the chicken is cooked. The stone pot is made of mica and contains a variety of mineral trace elements which will be distributed to the soup. The entire pot of chicken is rich in nutrition and is delicious.
