Welcome to Irvine, KY! Irvine is a small city in east central Kentucky, "Where The Bluegrass Kisses The Mountains". We are only about twenty miles off "the beaten path"!

Irvine was established in the early 1800's on the banks of the Kentucky River where, thanks to being nearly surrounded by thousands of acres of what would become the Daniel Boone National Forest, logging and transporting logs on the river were an important business. To learn more of the history of Irvine, the city of Ravenna which is adjacent to Irvine, and Estill County, go to www.estillcountyky.net/history.

#THISISIRVINE will help you to learn about the things you can see and the places you can visit in Irvine, Ravenna, and Estill County. We will lead you to the best local places to eat, shop, and stay. And we'll show you the outdoor activities on our rivers and streams, the scenic country drives for cars or bicycles, the places to hike in our forests, and when to attend the local festivals and events.
