We have just had an unfortunate cancellation on our Sept 2nd - Sept 7th trip to the UK and the working sets of Coronation Street , and have a few spots open .

Yes you are seeing correctly. This is quote for a Charlottetown-London UK-Charlottetown ticket. Base fare is $50 and $891.58 taxes/fees. So next time AC throws you a 15% off code as a "we're sorry"....it's only valid on the base fare=$12.50 off.

Oh and also....if a travel agent is lucky enough to make maybe 2% or 4% commission off the flight, that too is valid only on the base fare. This one would be $1 commission. We do all their work for them for $1.

I have received so many very kind and heartfelt messages of support from friends all across Canada and around the world during these past two heartbreaking weeks. Please forgive me if I have not responded to you , but I read each and every message , and I can’t tell you how much they all meant.
So many of you prayed right along with us as hundreds of volunteers and the RCMP searched for Tyson . I know many of you shared our grief and tears when we received the news that we were all dreading.
Tomorrow Tyson’s family will say their goodbyes . Another very long and difficult day . We had a fantastic trip to Northern England August30th-Sept7th this year . Our included private visit to the inside and outside working sets of Coronation Street was the icing on the cake after an amazing week.

Great Coronation Street Stars show “The Honeymooners “ in Summerside last evening , with Joe ( Johnny) Duttine who plays Tim , and his wife Sally Carmen Duttine who plays Abi. Such a lovely couple and lots of laughs , as they shared some tidbits and insight into life on the “ cobbles” as well as their own lives as a newly married couple. Another well done show Andrew Stuckless and Stroll Promotions. Also a big shout out to our dear friend Neville MacKay , who never disappoints as a wonderfully personable and entertaining host .
If you haven’t purchased a ticket yet for this great show , they perform in Truro this evening , then on to Halifax , and culminating in St John’s Nfld . You can find the links for ticket sales at www.strollpro.ca .

We were honoured to spend the day showing them around some of our lovely Island ( albeit in the rain), and a brief visit with them in the green room backstage just before the show. We enjoyed lunch and laughs and getting to know them as Sally and Joe vs the Tim and Abi we welcome into our homes each evening on Coronation Street. Such a truly lovely, down to earth couple.

Great to catch up with Bill Roache in the Green Room at the Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside before he went on stage. The last time I saw Bill other than when we visit the Coronation Street sets in Manchester was during his tour in 2012. I drove him to the airport and just before he went through the departure gates we hugged and I asked him if I might run my hands through his lovely hair....he was quite delighted to be asked and so I did ! Last evening we joked about that and we had a lovely chat, and he twice commented on how beautiful my eyes were and how lovely to hug me...oh he is quite the charmer, but a truly lovely and very interesting man. The show is magnificent people, so please do contact Stroll Promotions and get there ! Hats off to Andrew Stuckless who orchestrates these shows with precision, and of course to our own star and my dear friend Neville MacKay who is a star himself and the perfect MC for all of Stroll Promotions shows. Well done all around gentlemen !
