Cast members will also be paid during the shutdown. Good to see they are doing what they can to keep people fed during the shutdown.

The Disneyland Resort has an ongoing commitment to reducing food waste, and during the temporary closure of Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park will be donating excess food inventory to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

The new land at Hollywood Studios opened this morning to a throng of excited visitors. My preview two weeks ago was absolutely amazing. I was blown away by the details and the total immersion of the experience. Galaxy’s Edge will be a very popular place to visit!

It’s the news Star Wars fans have been waiting to hear!

BIG NEWS: Opening dates for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resorts have been announced! On opening day, the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction as well as select food/beverage and merchandise locations will be available. During a second phase happening later in 2019, the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction will debut!

Marathon Weekend is extraordinarily fun and exciting. There is an activity for all fitness levels. You can walk/run a family fun 5k or race through the parks during a 10k, half or a full marathon. Even spectators have a blast cheering on the athletes along the routes. Registration for 2020 begins in April, 2019!

Using the Lyft app, you can request private transfers from Point A to Point B throughout property for an additional fee! It works great for getting to those early morning Breakfast reservations!
