I am back after another amazing Run Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. We got to see the parks change from Halloween to Christmas, which was always a bucket list goal for me. The race weekend was awesome. We also made more magical memories in our favorite place.

Good morning! Only a couple more weeks to enjoy my favorite Mickey pumpkins before the parks magically transform yet again for the holiday season. Did you miss out on Mickey pumpkins this year? It’s never too early to start thinking about 2025. These bad boys typically are up by early to mid-August. 🎃

Also, if you are thinking about a last minute trip to see Disney at Christmas time 🎄, there are still some openings. So message me, and let’s get that booked right away!

Sliding into another week like…

If only we really were taking a ride on Slinky Dog Dash, one of my favorite Disney coasters right now. *OR* taking a stroll through Batuu. Hollywood Studios has had many changes over the years, but I love how immersive Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is and how bright and colorful Andy’s backyard (Toy Story Land) is. It’s hard for me to choose which “new” area is my favorite. Do you have a preference?

***Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs will reopen for their scheduled operating hours tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 11!***

While I would never advise a client to travel during/into a hurricane, often times these events are out of our control. Hurricanes can be unpredictable and often result in canceled flights as well as limited transportation options necessary for unplanned evacuations. Thankfully WDW really is one of the safest places to be should this situation ever happen to you. Next time you are in the parks, thank a cast member. The cast members worked tirelessly through this storm to make sure guests were taken care of and even entertained during the park closures. It is the cast members who truly make our happy place magical. ❤️

My heart goes out to all of the Floridians who have dealt with the devastating impacts of Hurricane Milton.

At this time, WDW theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 9.

* Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
* Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.

It is likely the theme parks will remain closed Thursday, Oct. 10. Disney will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings. This does include the cancelation of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.

*Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will also be closed tomorrow. At this time, Blizzard Beach is closed for an already planned refurbishment.

Due to the hurricane, the WDW line call volume is very high. If you have any requests you’d like me to call in for your upcoming trips, I will be waiting to do so until early next week.
