we know, we are the first and only watersports company in the world that offers such an amazing way of accomplishing this challenge. We are the first SUP by River School in Kanchanaburi and the only QUALIFIED School. We’ve now safely taught whole school year groups to stand up paddleboard and a complete range of people from age 7 - 70, and not a single one failed to stand on the board! We have kids camps for all ages running through July - one such opportunity is unique and the ONLY ONE of its kind IN THE WORLD. Anyone can learn traditional skills on a one week project in order to build their own board. We are only taking six students on and it is for one week only.

This could make a university application stand out from the crowd - who can say they built their own paddleboard !!!

Build your own paddle-board programme:

For anyone 12+ with an interest in craft and design.

Limited to a maximum of 6 students ONLY!

A 7 day programme where participants will work with an instructor to build their own paddle-board using traditional methods out of marine grade plywood – the board will last a lifetime, if you take care of it.

This is an intensive 7 day program with 5-6 hours per day of board building plus other fantastic outdoor activities, such as camping, stand up paddle-boarding, cycling and hiking.

If you don’t want to keep the board at the end, we have a buy back scheme (THB 3000 returned).
Dates: 13th – 19th July

We stopped buying inflatables. They are not eco friendly. Now we build are own hand crafted and unique boards. Want one? This one is THB 14 000 and should last you a lifetime if you take care of it. Inflatables have a limited lifespan, but this is made of wood, so we can repair it if you damage it. This one is available now, or order one and we will build it for you

We’ve just wrapped up another Skills for Life Residential with a fantastic group of children aged 5–11. While paddleboarding (as shown here) was a clear favourite, the adventure didn’t stop there—camping under the stars, treasure hunts, and team challenges made it a memorable experience from start to finish.
