Exciting progress on our social project in Tambococha! 🏡✨

Roy from our Cusco team recently visited the site and participated in a blessing ceremony for the construction. The ceremony featured traditional pucara bulls, symbols of prosperity and strength in Andean culture. 🐂✨

With the roof now complete, the next phase will focus on the interior, including flooring and drainage systems. The local community is thrilled with the progress so far and we're excited to see this project come to life!

The SAT Peru team was treated to a delicious dinner and wine tasting, courtesy of Iberostar Selection Miraflores.The food was exquisite and the pisco sour - topped with our signature SAT butterfly - added the perfect finishing touch! 🍹🦋

This special evening marked an exciting rebranding: Iberostar Selection Miraflores will become SOUMA Hotel Lima in March 2025, joining the Vignette Collection by IHG Hotels & Resorts - its first destination in South America! 🌎 This transition integrates the hotel into IHG's luxury and lifestyle portfolio, while evolving Iberostar's identity beyond its traditional beach resorts.

Exciting flight news! ✈️🌿We're thrilled to announce that Azul Airlines is launching a new direct flight from São Paulo (Viracopos) to Alta Floresta, starting 11 March 2025!

This new route will make it easier than ever to reach Cristalino Lodge - one of the most luxurious lodges in the Amazon - and offer a seamless journey into the heart of the southern Amazon. Flights will operate three times a week - Tue, Thu and Sun.

Every February, the shores of Lake Titicaca come alive with the Fiesta de la Candelaria, a vibrant celebration of music, dance and devotion. Declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, the festival transforms Puno into a dazzling folkloric spectacle that showcases the rich traditions of the Quechua, Aymara and Mestizo cultures.

Our team in Ecuador had an unforgettable culinary journey in the colonial heart of Quito! ✨

The adventure began with a fascinating tour of the San Diego Convent. Founded in 1597, this architectural gem provided the perfect setting to connect with history and culture. They then stepped into the open kitchen to cook traditional Ecuadorian dishes under professional guidance, blending ancient and modern techniques. Using fresh, local ingredients, they prepared delicious empanadas filled with roast pork, seafood rice and a decadent chocolate soup with exotic fruits. The evening ended with a delicious dinner enjoyed in this unique and inspiring venue. 🍴✨

It was a truly immersive experience of flavours, culture and heritage in Quito’s charming historic centre - perfect for our clients seeking something extraordinary!

(1) Tijuca Forest & Christ the Redeemer Hike
Hike to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue and explore the Tijuca Forest, home to waterfalls, exotic wildlife and Tijuca Peak, Rio's highest point. (Intermediate)

(2) Pedra Bonita Hike

Our team in Brazil chose a truly special setting for their annual celebration: the inspiring social project Reffetorio Gastromotiva. 🌟 They experienced first-hand the impact of this pioneering initiative, proudly supported by SAT.

"Comida que Transforma" - based on this idea, the social restaurant combines gastronomy with sustainable efforts, tackling food waste while providing essential training and job opportunities for vulnerable communities. It's the perfect venue for group lunches or events, offering customisable menus, tours, tastings and workshops in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 🍽✨

Our team was deeply inspired by the concept and can't wait to bring more of our groups here 🫶
