Ministry of Magic, How to Train your Dragon, Super Mario, Celestial & Classic Monsters - Disney’s Epic Universe will be available to book tickets for opening attractions starting October 22 2024!

Epic Universe is set to open May 22 2025! Guests who book a hotel and ticket package with me will have first access to these tickets to explore the epic experience that awaits them.

OCTOBER 8th 3:38 PM | WDW Statement

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest projection, we are making additional operational adjustments for the safety of our Guests and Cast Members beginning tomorrow, Oct. 9.

The Walt Disney World Emergency Operations Center is connected to weather experts and community leaders. Please know these adjustments have been made in order to leave plenty of time for our Guests and Cast Members to return to their Resort hotels or homes safely hours before higher winds are expected to reach Central Florida.

Operational Impacts Include:

Walt Disney World Theme Parks

On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.
It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings.
This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.
Disney Resort Hotel Closures

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, Oct. 13.
Transportation

Walt Disney World Transportation will stop operating Wednesday, Oct. 9 after Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks close.
Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.
Recreation

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Disney’s Blizzard Beach remains closed for planned refurbishment.
Reservations for Dining and Other Experiences

Effective immediately, we will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences.
Pre-paid bookable experiences will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 business days.
Disney Resort and Room-Only Cancellation Policy for Reservations Booked Directly with Disney Destinations, LLC or The Walt Disney Travel Company:

Due to potential weather impacts to guest travel plans, change and cancellation fees imposed by Disney will be waived for check-in dates of Tuesday, 10/8 - Monday, 10/14.
Most room-only and vacation packages can be modified, or cancelled online, including changes to travel dates, without fees. Packages including air transportation or other services provided by third parties, or those with travel protection, cannot be modified or cancelled online. For Guests with these reservations, please call Disney Central for assistance.

JUST REVEALED: Disney Destiny Maiden Voyage and Itineraries, Plus First Look at ‘Pirates’-Inspired Pub

Bookings for the Disney Destiny will open Sep. 12, and today we’re sharing must-know dates and details about the ship’s maiden voyage and inaugural itineraries so you can start mapping out your client's epic vacations!

The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025. Not only will this special four-night cruise be the first opportunity for guests to experience all this ship has to offer, but it will also include stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will include a day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both! — and select cruises will feature more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico. Stay tuned for dates and itinerary details before bookings open to the general public Sep. 12, 2024.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited capacity five-hour holiday event, kicking off November 8 and running on select nights through December 20 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

The dates for 2024 are:

NOV 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
DEC 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

Over the years, we’ve been working hard to keep our Star Wars experiences in Disney Parks evolving alongside that expanding galaxy far, far away. That is also part of what makes Star Tours: The Adventures Continue so special. So now, starting April 5, 2024, at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort , Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be taking guests on some all-new adventures. These new additions will feature characters and locations from some of guests favorite Disney+ new series – “Ahsoka”, “Andor”, and “The Mandalorian”.

There will always be new experiences to have, as Disney said, “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world”.

For us our most recent magical first was experiencing the First Haircut at Harmony Barber Shop with my daughter.
