Yes, you can fly with wrapped gifts, but be aware that the TSA can unwrap them to check what's inside and your beautiful wrap job will be undone. You could wait to wrap until you reach your destination or use wrapping that gives easy access to what's inside like a gift bag or decorative pouch.
Another thing to consider when flying with gifts: Will you check them in your luggage or will you carry them on?
If packing them in your checked baggage use a hard side suitcase and be sure to wrap fragile items securely. Plus check the weight of the suitcase so you aren't surprised by overweight baggage fees.
If you would like to carry them on, make sure they meet the TSA requirements including:
*No liquid over 3.4 ounces (double check any perfumes, colognes and snow globes)
*Avoid toys that look like weapons or sporting equipment that could be used as a weapon.
*No aerosols that could be flammable.
Instead of flying with gifts, you could consider shipping them to your destination. One less thing to remember to pack 😉

*One family started the month at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! It was a delightful finish to their first Disney World vacation.
*Honeymooners set sail on Independence of the Seas to Falmouth, Jamaica and Labadee, Haiti - Congrats to the happy couple!
*Another family is aboard Liberty of the Seas celebrating mom's 30th birthday! What a fantastic way to celebrate!
*Christmas in Mexico? Yes, please. Mom, dad and their three adult sons are flying in from different cities to celebrate together at a beautiful all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen.

Do your kids like waterparks? Waterparks at resorts are the perfect way to add a splash of excitement to any vacation! Have you stayed at a resort with a waterpark? Pictured in this post is the waterpark at Beaches Ocho Rios that my kids adored.
My clients just left on their first cruise which is also their honeymoon. When we first met, they weren't sure if they wanted an all-inclusive resort or a cruise. While the bride loves a quiet spot to read, the groom is a guy on the go. A cruise perfectly meshed what they both like and allowed them to see multiple places together which they both loved.

Happy December 1st! The holiday season is officially here, and so is the perfect time to start planning your 2025 trips.

In my family, I make the desserts for every holiday because I love to bake. For Thanksgiving it is always two pumpkin pies, once mince meat pie and usually an apple pie (mixing it up this year as my kids want to make Turkey cookies instead of apple pie).

Student trips to Australia, New Zealand and France solidified her passion for travel.
Researching and planning all of the details of a vacation has always been part of the fun of a vacation. She has also experienced providing that "Disney Difference" first hand as part of the Disney College Program.
