26/01/2020

Notice: If you received a friend request from me and we are already friends, the latest request to add me as a friend is for Spencer DVC Rentals which is a separate page from my base account. This is purely for information related to my Disney Vacation Club Rentals for the points I own at Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Vacation Club at the Polynesian Resort.
Look at the Spencer DVC Rentals page to learn about Disney Vacation Club. I have been a member since March 1993 and currently have just at 500 points available for rent in 2020.
Thanks!

If you would like to rent points from me.

Pricing is based upon the number of points needed to secure the reservation times the price per point that I determine and we agree upon as the price that will be be per point. The price per point that I must receive is $16-$18 per point. Only members can check for availability for each resort/size of unit. Unit sizes range from studios that sleep either 4 or 5 dependent upon the resort all the way up to 1br, 2br and 3br units. FYI- between now and at least the month of February, there is very little availability at any resort. Bookings for other periods after that can be hard to come by as well for holidays, weekends and special event periods. You need to let me know the dates, size of unit(s) and resort to have me check availability. Keep in mind smaller resorts such as Beach Club are usually not that open. Give me a few different time frames and know you will need to be flexible with dates you give me to check. DVC is very much a high demand entity. Demand exceeds supply. But, renting from a member will save as much as 50% off the cash price if you rent from Disney reservations. Email me at [email protected] with any questions/requests. Spencer

Sitting at the bus stop at the hospitality house at Old Key West. Not too warm....only 55°.
But that is probably warmer than where you. I will be renting out points for 2018 very soon. If you haven't already requested a rental, do it very, very soon.
We have annual passes we will be using and will come back down for at least 2 weeks this year to take advantage of those.

DVC Points For Rent for a stay in a Disney Vacation Club resort property.

Points required to book accommodations are also determined upon the day of the week.
Sun-Thu are considered weekdays. Fri-Sat are weekend nights. Fri-Sat nights are more in demand because people tend to take short vacations on weekends. Therefore, more points are required to book one of those nights.
In addition to the day of the week, points needed to book accommodations are also determined by which resort you wish to book. Some resorts are more in demand. Also, some resorts are much larger and have a larger supply of lodging available and those resorts typically are less per night simply because there is a much larger supply. The resorts that are most in demand have typically been those that are considered to be Magic Kingdom Resort Properties. These include Grand Floridian, Bay Lake at Contemporary, and the Polynesian Villas. These are followed closely by the Epcot Resorts. They include the Boardwalk Villas and the Beach Club.
There are Points Charts for every DVC Resort showing the matrix of points required based upon all of the variables of Season, Day of the Week and the Size of the accommodation.
And, Disney modifies these every year based upon the previous year’s history of supply and demand at each Resort.

*Because of the way the calendar falls in 2017, there is only 1 week of Christmas/New Year’s. Normally, the calendar allows for a complete 2 week period in this season.
There are periods in seasons that don’t necessarily make sense as to why Disney is busier than you would think. Disney has added events over the years to attract visitors during the less traditional periods. Since Disney has traditionally drawn families with children of school age, periods where American children are not in attendance at schools are busier. Disney has added events to draw visitors during periods where children are less likely to visit. Holidays such as President’s day, Memorial Day, and of course Thanksgiving, are much busier as well. In addition, Disney has added events such as the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, Epcot Food & Wine Festival, Professional Golf tournaments, running events such as Mini-Marathons, Cheerleading competitions, along with many others that help keep Disney resorts full and the parks busy. Of course, there are always times when there are periods where Disney just can’t draw that many visitors.
You can determine when all of Disney is the least and most busy and the demand for accommodations is by looking at the different seasons above.

Notes about renting points for a stay at a Disney DVC property. There are 5 "seasons" for DVC properties. These seasons determine the number of points required to book a particular resort property at a given period in the year in a given size of unit. Most properties have Studios, 1BR's, 2BR's and 3BR's.
The number of Points required is determined by the popularity of the season. The lowest Points are for the least traveled season, and the highest are for the most traveled one.
Here are the names of the seasons in order based upon the least busy period(s) at Disney and the least points required to book an accommodation to the one that is the busiest period at Disney requiring the most points to book an accommodation.
1. Adventure
2. Choice
3. Dream
4. Magic
5. Premier
Please note:
• The Dream season is not featured at 2 Resorts: The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawaiʻi.
• The Magic season is not featured at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort.
• The seasons listed apply only to Disney Vacation Club Resorts and are not completely represented on all charts. Other Collections may have other seasons listed or other methods for determining the number of Points required during times of high volume occupancy.

Stayed there last September. Absolutely beautiful. Great thing about the studios here is they sleep 5. Personally, I don’t think booking a “Lakeview” studio is worth the extra points. We booked standard and still had a “LakeView” room. You have to know which rooms to request for this. Room design is very unique. Queen bed with Queen sleeper sofa- very comfy AND a drop down bunk bed (low not high). They also have 2 bathrooms- sorta of. One closest to entry door has toilet, shower/tub and a sink. Handicap accessible. Then the next room is the second one. It has a very large double sink and an amazing shower- all stone walled.

Do you have plans for the week of Spring Break 2017? Do you want to go to WDW? The week for many schools around the country will start Saturday April 8th and continue until Easter Sunday on April 16th. I have the ability to book at Old Key West and at the Polynesian right now for this week. Though I can start booking at other DVC properties on September 9th, there is a strong likelihood that those properties will already be booked by other members who have points at those.

Email me ASAP if you would like to book. I can book other dates, but those are the ones that appeal to those of you who have school age kids.

The Polynesian has only studios that sleep 5. They have lake view and non-lake view categories.

OKW has studios, 1BR, 2BR and 3BR grand villas. Studios sleep 4-5, 1BR 4-5, 2BR 8-9, 3BR 12-13. The 5th, 9th and 13th person is for a 3yr old and under child in a pack'n play.

I rent points during this extremely high demand week at $16-17/point.

Some of these places are no longer around. They have been replaced and or simply done away with entirely. For each photo, test your memory and knowledge to see if you can name the location (park) were the photo was taken and the character(s) and/or attraction where they normally appeared in the case of a character greet and meet.
