Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Kelvinites,

Can you believe it has been ten years since the 100th anniversary? We know the last few years have been profoundly challenging for all, so we hope that the school year can end on a celebratory note. Please join us on Saturday June 11th (the official itinerary is below) to commemorate Kelvin’s 110th anniversary. We have several events planned over the course of the day and you are welcome to join as either a participant or as a spectator. If you are thinking of participating in the organized activities, it would be greatly appreciated if you could email the appropriate representative as soon as possible.

Hopefully you can find time to swing by your old school to relive your early morning Wellington Crescent runs, splash in some smooth three pointers, sprint deep for the winning touchdown, rise high into the sky for the ferocious spike, and re-activate your beautiful singing voice. We would also be thrilled if you could join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony for our brand new Active Living Center, the lunch hour live music show that will include the talented folk-pop musician Mister K, and the afternoon choir performance in memory of long-time Kelvin supporter and lover of music Jim Pappas. When in the school, you might also visit temporary exhibits that will display 110 years of Kelvin historical artifacts and will honour the lives of the 291 Kelvin soldiers who died in action during both World Wars.

We really hope to see you on June 11th!

Chris Young
