The celebration of life services for former Rombout Huntsman, Vincent Tartaglia, will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the West Clinton Fire Department Station 1 on Hollow Rd. In honor of Veteran's Day, the MFHA would like to feature the Fort Leavenworth Hunt (FLH), the last remaining military-affiliated hunt in the United States. FLH was organized in 1926 by the 10th Cavalry Regiment and disbanded during WWII. The pack of hounds was reconstituted in 1964, registered with the Masters of Foxhounds Association (MFHA) in 1965, and recognized by the MFHA in 1966. Hunt membership is open to the public. Subscribers include military personnel, their families, and civilians.

We are just a week away from our Halloween Hunter Pace through these beautiful Rombout Hunt trails. Come out and enjoy a new route for this year’s pace!

Come join us at our Halloween Hunter Pace on Sunday, October 30th over Rombout Hunt’s trails!

Riders go out in teams of 2 or 3 on marked trails.
Course includes woodland paths, open fields, streams and dirt roads, with natural jumps.
Average Jump height 2’ - 2’9”, all have “go arounds”. Jumping is optional. Hard hats required.
Start time 9:30am - cut off time 12:30pm
Ribbons 1st-10th place in each division: First Flight, Juniors and Hill Toppers
Advanced registration discounted price: $80 per adult (18 and over), $60 per Junior rider (17 and under), $20 Lunch Only (+eventbright fees)
Day-of-pace price: $100 per adult (18 and over), $80 per Junior rider (17 and under), $20 Lunch Only

2022 Rombout Summer Hunter Pace Results! Thank you to everyone who braved the heat to ride our amazing course so carefully laid out and decorated by our team of Rombout Hunt members led by the mastermind of all things pace course, Joy, Judy and Jose! We are grateful to our Landowners for access to properties in our beautiful hunt territory and incredible volunteers, who kept the day organized and running smoothly. The table below shows the results for the day. Ribbons will be mailed out in the coming days!
