What an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE we had outside last weekend collaborating with on a Hike, Sound Healing & BioBlitz at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center!
With over 20 participants from ages 2-60, we truly were able to integrate the generations as we came together to bring science and natural healing into one space! We hiked along the Hog Island Trail out to pier where we collect water and sediment samples! This is known as a . Folks also collected lead and moss! eDNA (environmental DNA) allows us to understand what organic life occupies our waters (and land!). As we learn and understand more about what’s in our environment, we strengthen our connection to where we are and in turn, ourselves as we see how critical of a role we plan in the up keep of our environment!
We ended a day with a healing in the garden to soothe the nervous system and balance all levels - mind body and spirit! 🧘🏾♂️🧘🏾🧘🏾♀️Shout out to for doing our stomachs right after a long day of activities! ✨👌🏾🥟🥗

We are now in JULY and setting up to hit the trail again ! This month is super special because we will not only be enjoying another scenic trail but also setting out to sea in a charter boat to enjoy the beauty of the water elements and all that comes with it.
This is a full day trip and we are excited to have you join us!
DAYBREAKDOWN:
I) We will first meet at Ferry Point Park at 1:00pm to get together & get the energy flowing with a light icebreaker and stretch routine.
II) After this casual hike we will head over to the Jetty Restaurant where the boat is docked . You’ll have about an hour for lunch.
III) The charter boat will leave the docks at 3:00pm sharp. Location sent upon registration. This boat trip will last approximately 1.5 hours.
IV) We will hold our sound healing on the vessel as you relax, fish and enjoy the bay. 🎶 🎣 🛥️

One of the best things about is that you don’t realize how hard it may be for you to relax but with the guidance of pure sounds frequencies, the mind is put at easy so that the body can release the built of tension that is causing resistance to relaxation!

Sound is a potent cure for the anxious mind, overworked body and ultimately does something very refreshing for the aura field and human subtle energy systems. Pull your power back into you as the pure sound frequency emanating for the crystal bowls, chimes, bells, rainsticks and a number of other instruments within our soundscape lull you into a deep rest so that the mind, body and spirit has the opportunity to heal itself. Sound is a detox to the aura field, blood stream, muscular systems and all organs. Join us under the full moon as we rest to fill our cups, commune, laugh and synchronize with the positive energy within the space.

Basking in the bliss of the day, sitting here, recalling some of the wisdom of my mother.
A mothers wisdom sticks different. I can think of so many times my mother told me something as fact and it was automatically branded. I then lived by it, too.
A sacred part of spiritual growth is the constant refinement of our personal belief and value system.
Thankfully it ain’t hard cuz life be lifeing and will always find a way to throw you a challenge that naturally invokes an opportunity for reflection and opportunity to utilize wisdom and harmony in how we react to situations, occurrences and people.
My mother always used to say, “You get more bees with honey, Chile”.
(I’ll let you translate that one ☺️)
This one here still serves me to this day. This just goes to show true wisdom will always stand the test of the flame through every age.
