So proud!! I have been in 'Viajes' the Spanish edition of National Geographic with a picture I took of a local fisherman in Kafue National Park when I lived there almost 6 years ago.

When editing this picture, I just couldn't decide between the drama of the black and white version and the richness of the colors in the color version!

Which one do you like better and why? 1= black&white 2=color.

This is the infinity of the of . Mt Suswa is a few hours outside of Nairobi. I had to drive the final hour through quite rough terrain and maybe 1 meter of view due to the heavy rains, but made it! And my goodness...was it worth the !! (to enjoy the first picture to the fullest, please click on it as it is a panorama view)

Had the pleasure to discover a new region in . I went with my dad to Meru and Samburu, climbed Mt Ololokwe, hiked with Samburu wariors, got stuck in the sand, had 4(!) flat tires and danced under a blanket of the brightest stars. oh nature of kenya how I LOVE you! Sabache CAMP - Samburu

Stephan Vanfleteren reist de hele wereld over om portretten te maken van mensen die met hart en ziel leven voor de oceaan en haar golven. Hij heeft er een prachtige expositie van gemaakt met bekende en minder bekende surf(st)ers die nu te zien is in de Kunsthal Rotterdam.
Ik zie in de foto's een combinatie van kracht, respect en een soort van overgave of acceptatie dat je ze zee niet kunt bedwingen, maar je alleen kunt laten meevoeren, en ik vind het prachtig!
Tot en met 13 januari te bezichtigen!

Wish I could go myself! Ik ben super benieuwd naar dit talent van Afrikaanse bodem. Er is zoveel indrukwekkends te fotograferen hier, van adembenemende natuur, tot kleurrijke mensen tot dingen die je liever niet ziet (waar niet?) dat ik denk dat dit een must see is! De fototentoonstelling in de Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam is te bezichtigen van 14 april tot 9 juli.

My subjects in the world! , and combined in 1 in . I salute Dierenbescherming for describing the characters of the animals in such a vivid and lovely way! It brings a smile to my face every time I pass the exposition. And a huge thumbs up for OOPOEH for bringing these lovely people and animals together and bringing such positive change to their lives!

Vandaag gestart en tot 9 juli te zien in TORCH gallery in de expositie Martin Roemers - Metropolis. Martin maakt waanzinnig mooie foto's van grote steden met de beweging van grote groepen mensen. Van bovenaf gefotografeerd en met lange sluitertijden zorgt zit voor een spectaculair beeld,

I was asked by my friend Sanne Jacobs to join her to go to Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam because there would be a tour by 'a photographer'. Surely I said yes, and then to my surprise the 'photographer' turned out to be !! Big fan of her work and her newest project where she traveled through America on a motorbike.

So cool to hear from her how she deals with peoples trust when taking a portret.

Unsplash offers 10 new pictures every 10 days and they are free to use for whatever purpose. It goes without saying that giving the photographer credits for the job earns you a lot of love and karma points;)
