Tiffins in Animal Kingdom is such a special place. Aside from the fantastic food…the whole place is adorned with the actual research from the group of Imagineers that designed the park. You’ll find artifacts, drawings, photos, and journal entries from some of the greats.

For a Disney nerd like me… this place is heaven!

Did you know that you don’t have to be IN the parks to watch the fireworks?

There are many places to see the show that don’t require a park ticket:
*The Polynesian beach
*The Grand Floridian dock (as pictured here!)
*The Contemporary Resort balcony
*California Grill rooftop (both inside and outside options)
*A private cruise along the Seven Seas Lagoon

AND the Magic Kingdom brings the Happily Ever After music directly to all of these places. So you literally get to experience everything except the projections.

Sci-Fi Dine-In is a highly requested dining experience!

As you enter the restaurant, you step back into the 1950’s in all its drive-in movie theater glory. The tables are inside of a vintage car, the food comes from the “concession stand” (via your carhop), and short films play as you dine on American classics like burgers and milkshakes.

It’s one that our kids always request!

Want to know one of the BEST perks of staying at a Deluxe WDW Resort?

Extended evening hours.

During select nights, the parks are open past their bedtime just for you. For a couple of extra magical hours, you get to have nearly no wait times for rides, unlimited free snacks and drinks, and practically empty paths!

Not gonna be shy about it… we have a favorite resort to stay in at Walt Disney World.

BUT, I also love getting to try out the other options! The Grand Floridian lived up to its reputation. This resort is an absolute stunner, and is the literal neighbor to Cinderella and her castle. Our family really enjoyed staying here, and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Tucked in the back of Animal Kingdom, you’ll find Rafiki’s Planet Watch and Conservatory.

Because it requires a train ride, most people skip out on this area… but I’m here to tell you that you need to change your mind! An interactive animal petting area, a look into the Veterinary Clinic, and The Animation Experience can all be found in this corner of the park. (Plus some exclusive character meets!) We could spend hours in this quieter part of the Kingdom!

On our last family trip to Walt Disney World, we completed a challenge: to try out ALL of the character meals!

Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort was the final one on our list, and it was a fantastically delicious way to start the day.

Having tried them all, we definitely have our favorites…as well as a couple that are more of a “one-and-done” experience for us.

As a travel agent, it is my absolute pleasure to try out new places for YOUR benefit!

Recently, I traveled with my family to Universal Studios in Orlando. We stayed at the gorgeous Loews Portifino Bay Resort. Over three days we explored the parks, tried the food, and developed a solid base of information for the ins and outs of Universal. Plus, how CUTE is this Minions Kid Suite!?

EPCOT hosts 4 festivals throughout the year, the first one being Festival of the Arts. During this festival, you can browse through an entire park filled with art-filled booths from individual artists. It really is something to see!

Aside from the professional artwork up for purchase, you can also see sidewalks adorned with chalk images like this Maleficent one, and participate in some interactive art projects!

I’m still in recharge mode from my trip to WDW last week… and have a ton of new and exciting things to show you. But I just couldn’t wait on this one.

The Keys to the Kingdom tour was a dream come true. We’ve always held off on taking this one because of the kids. But this time, it was just my husband and I, so we booked a tour for our last day in Walt Disney World.

I can’t tell you all of the secrets we learned, but I can tell you that the dream of Walt Disney is still very much alive. The amount of magic that it takes to keep everything going is astounding. And for anyone who loves Disney as much as we do, I would highly recommend this tour.

We left with a fabric swatch from the costume department, an exclusive Keys to the Kingdom pin, and a greater appreciation for every cast member there.

The carved pumpkins on Main Street are one of my favorite parts of Magic Kingdom in autumn. Cast members from each location create these to be placed on display above the crowds... each in the theme of their shop!

There's really nothing like Disney during the holiday season. And guess what? Dates for Nov/Dec 2025 just opened up TODAY!

I have spent all morning booking several magical Christmas vacations for clients, and now I'm ready to design yours!

Character meals… this has to be the most frequently asked topic!

Did you know that Walt Disney World has 12 different places where you can dine with the beloved characters?
Currently I have eaten at 11 of the 12, but this is scheduled to change very soon 😉 I’m always down to do more research!

Many think that character dining isn’t the best that WDW has to offer, but I’m here to tell you that you just haven’t eaten at Topolino’s Terrace yet! This character meal is only offered at breakfast. In the evening, the restaurant turns into one of Disney’s Signature Dining experiences. But before they bring out the fine china and fancy foods… Mickey and his friends are there in their finest art-attire!

Dine at the top of the Riviera Resort for incredible views, the most delicious breakfast, and a personalized interaction with Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Minnie!
