I know that by many, George of Asda is considered the pinnacle of British fashion, but I certainly wouldn't recommend their navy blue budget t-shirts for long distance international cycling. Mine has faded more than my childhood dreams of becoming a pirate.

Now the rain has stopped I can pack up and get back on the road. It has been a long couple of days, and it means I have to get a wiggle on now to make it to Castelo Branco by the 20th. Wish me luck! No more drama or mishaps now, hopefully all of that is out of the way!

Today I'll be taking a steady ride to a place called Avis. It's really bloody annoying, every time I've tried to put it into any map apps it keeps coming up with the car rental company. I don't want a bloody car, although it would be a hell of a lot safer! It's jabbed into my Beeline Velo 2 now though so it should be all good!

NO MORE ACCIDENTS! I'm going to go at around 0.7 km per hour just in case. No I'm not! I'll go as fast as possible. I really need to pick up the pace as I want to be doing 100 km days in a few weeks time.

The first few days here are just chilling and getting everything sorted for my bike ride that will begin tomorrow. I am currently walking from my hotel to Cabo da Roca so I suppose that will be the official start of my journey. It's about 9 km so will be 18 in total. I nice distance. I'm currently staying at @sunnysoul_retreat which is a great place and was available at a great price! I would definitely recommend it if you are ever around here.
