Wondering what to do at the parks if it's raining?
There are more than enough options to stay dry at the Disney World theme parks. Don't let rain deter you!
Here are a few tips to enjoy the parks during a storm
- If you are going during the warmer months, rain storms are almost a daily occurence mid-day. Plan accordingly and take a break or get a bite to eat at that time!
- A lot of ride queues are covered or indoors - you can always find the nearest indoor ride/queue during a storm
- Find a show to go to! A lot of the Disney World shows run hourly and you will be able to sit and enjoy a show while waiting out the storm
- Find a store and go shopping! A lot of Disney World shops connect to each other so you can walk from one store to the next without getting wet.
- Pack a poncho/rain jacket and a change of socks/clothes if needed. You don't want to be in wet clothes all day!
