Rick is a friend and former colleague from the Yachting industry, now working offshore in Australia. This appeal is to help his Mother-in-law who is critically ill in hospital in Australia awaiting a life-saving procedure, which can only go ahead if they can raise the necessary funding. Thanks for donating to my Fundraising Page Virgie Jaca - Urgent Heart Surgery.
Together we raised $9,930.00 for Virginia Jaca. (including $7930 offline/bank transfer donations)
I am really grateful for your generous help in reaching my goal.
We are still looking for at least $15,000, the Surgeons and Doctors have offered their services for free, but the consultant has advised that the hospital said this morning that they will not proceed without at least $25,000 of funds confirmed.

Virginia Jaca is in Nepean Hospital waiting for urgent valve replacement surgery and possible heart bypass. She has cardiomegaly, an enlargement of the heart, a condition she has had for many years
