Our very own Ms. CARINA DAYONDON has reported a successful ascent to Vinson Massif completing her bid to scale the "Seven Summits of the World" —the highest summits of the world's seven continents.

Carina is the second Filipino (next to Romy Garduce), and a record-holder as the FIRST FILIPINA to achieve such great mountaineering feat. In 2007, she was one of the three Filipina under "Kaya Ng Pinoy" expedition who summit and traversed Mt. Everest.

2006 – Mt. McKinley (6194m), North America
2007 – Mt. Everest (8850m), Asia
2013 – Mt. Elbrus (5642m), Europe
2014 – Mt. Kosciuszko (2228m), Australia
2015 – Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m), Africa
2018 – Mt. Aconcagua (6962m), South America
2018 – Mt. Vinson Massif (4892m), Antarctica
