Lava Lit Landscape and a Faint pillar of light caused by interplanetary dust in the zodiacal cloud scattering the sunlight ,causing whats called Zodiacal Light.
Also joining the party Jupiter and Mars ,Jupiter Is the third brightest object in the nights sky our moon and venus out shine it.
I think mars is 4 times brighter then Sirius the brightest star in the earths night sky.
Photo taken a few days before Xmass 2017 on Pulama Pali pretty close to the location where the 61G Lava flow came down .its a mix of A'a Lava and Pahoehoe lava lit by break outs of small Pahoehoe rivers about 30 yards behind me.
Gotta Say living on this planets most active Volcano on an island made from 5 volcanoes in the middle of the worlds largest ocean really makes me as a person feel really tiny.......Kilauea Home to Tūtū Pele many thanks my fiery Friend u Beautiful .....

Raising moon, the mighty pacific ocean and a sky mixed with our typical low clouds of about 6500' along with much higher wispy cirrus clouds.
These wispy clouds are forming the 22 degree halo around the moon cause by the light refracting thru ice crystals suspended in the higher Atmosphere

Shadow Rock.....
On a full moon lit night Far far from it all in the Middle of the Ocean.....
On a Giant rock with two Mountain summits towering almost 14000 feet above sea level...
I sit watching the Rock grow as the full moon casts is light down upon the mighty ocean shadowing the smallest rock as if saying one day you will be a big rock like me..

was going thru the darker Sky portion of the photos from the other nights lighting storm as seen from Mauna Kea's Summit and found this one.
lighting over Mauna Loa, Lighting to the east of Mauna Loa and the firey glow from Kilauea's Pit Carter glowing into the nights sky.
not the best Photo of the milky way but the high clouds give it that Atmospheric feel.

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me
Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me
Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this
Sweet dreams, till sunbeams find you
Gotta keep dreaming leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
You gotta make me a promise, promise to me
You'll dream, dream a little of me
Great words and fantastic song
