Diving with Tommy & Janna

Tommy and I were lucky enough to spend a week on a liveaboard in The Sea of Cortez. This is a new region for us. We saw much of the sea life we've seen in The Carribean, but in this region, we saw Fin Whales, S***m Whales, Dolphins, lots and lots of Sea Lions, and got to swim alongside several Whale Sharks. It's just amazing! There is a whole other world under the surface of the ocean.

Our first day of boat diving went well. All three boys got comfortable in their scuba gear and by the end of the second dive seemed pretty confident. They got to see their first eagle ray, shark, and very large turtle. Due to watching the boys very closely, we didn't get any pictures of those amazing creatures, but here are a few we did get.

Diving here is so cool! You drive around the island, pick a spot, back your truck up to the shore, and dive in.
