Located in the 1908 Western Maryland Railroad depot, the Welcome Center is part of historic downtown Elkins and the departure location for the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad’s Elkins excursion trains. Over 42,000 visitors come to the Center each year to find information on lodging, eateries, historic sites, museums, music venues, train excursions and current events.
Randolph County offers a variety of unusual museums and shops, as well as diverse restaurants. The Elkins Depot Welcome Center strives to provide a wide assortment of information about Elkins, Randolph County and the surrounding area.
